People often say, "Youth always has to be something extraordinary, too ordinary youth seems too calm." This is also a sentence that I have often encouraged myself since I started my work in the village.
My name is Tian Peng, and four years ago, I went from the three-foot podium to the front line of poverty alleviation and became a village cadre in the Shizhu community of Xieqiao Street in Wanshan District. As one of the few village-based cadres on the education front in the whole region, I am honored to stick to the front line.
Shizhu Community is located in the south of Xieqiao Subdistrict, the village has jurisdiction over 17 villager groups, 889 households and 2389 people, including 269 people in 93 households with established archives, 53 people from 23 low-income households, 12 people from 10 households with special hardship, 53 people with disabilities, 21 people from 13 households without labor, 21 people from 13 households living alone with the elderly, and 149 households with dangerous reform.
When I first arrived at the Shizhu community, I looked forward to the head of the village, looked back at the end of the village, and looked around at the mountains and rivers on the left and right, which was a completely strange scene.
In order to familiarize myself with the social conditions and public opinion as soon as possible, on the one hand, I visited households to find out the basic situation of the community households that have set up files and cards, truly understood their income channels, conscientiously combined the "four views" to understand the masses' food and clothing, and gradually became the intimate "relatives" of the masses in carrying out work such as schooling, medical treatment, and housing safety. On the other hand, through close communication with group cadres and community cadres, I have truly understood the current situation of production and life of the non-poor households, obtained the actual situation of the development of the community agricultural industry, and recorded in detail the practical difficulties faced by the masses in combination with the people's sentiment ledger, so that the situation is clear and the bottom number is clear, and the work in the village is realized from strange to familiar.
In the past four years, I have truly regarded the work in the village as a cause, measured the suffering of the masses with my footsteps, helped the people to become rich with actions, made myself an expert in carrying out grass-roots work, and tempered myself into an open-air woodcutter who is the backbone of the writing business and the development of rural industries.
The years from 2017 to 2018 are the key years for the Decisive Battle against Poverty in Wanshan District. I have always focused on the requirements of synchronous well-off work in the village, insisted on eating and living in the village, organized the members of the village working group and all the cadres of the community "two committees" in an orderly manner, consulted ideas for the development of the community industry, built a spring plan for industrial development, sought ideas for the masses to get rich, consolidated the foundation for poverty alleviation and prosperity, came up with strategies for resolving contradictions and disputes among the masses, built a solid "protective wall" for safety work, and effectively promoted the realization of wonderful listings in Wanshan District.

Nowadays, the Shizhu community has built 8 poverty alleviation industries, the industry has achieved full coverage of the dividends of the poor masses, and the total number of employment of the masses has reached more than 300 person-times, and in 2020, the dividends of the poor people will be 3592.47 yuan, and the masses will truly realize that there is a way out for the masses to get rich, and there is hope for labor and employment.
At the beginning of this year, when the new crown epidemic struck, I, like most of the cadres stationed in the village, gave up the New Year holidays, rushed to the front line of epidemic prevention and control, under the decision-making and deployment of the party committee and the government, and strived to be a policy propagandist, information transmitter and data statistician on the epidemic prevention and control front, on the basis of doing a good job in the routine work in the village, making full use of WeChat, telephone and other interviews to carry out online help and condolences, so that the people in need can feel the warmth of helping cadres.
During the epidemic period, my colleagues and I carried out a total of 2,389 publicity on epidemic prevention and control policies, carried out information mapping and investigation 3 times, posted 18 propaganda slogans, distributed more than 1,500 publicity materials, and carried out more than 200 information publicity reports, effectively ensuring the life safety and physical health of the whole village.
"Teacher Tian, I thought you went back to school to teach, but I haven't seen you in a few days, and if you really go back, I'm still a little reluctant to go back." This sentence of Zhang Zhenyu, a lika holder of the Wang Jiayuan Group of The Shizhu Community, still haunts my ears to this day, and I understand that this is the affirmation of the masses for my work in the village, and it is also their deep concern for me.
After four years of village-based practice, I have dedicated my youth to the cause of poverty alleviation, witnessed the transformation of the people in the Shizhu community to achieve a better life, and realized self-worth in the work of helping and supporting the village. Today's caryophyllus is no longer a foreign country for me, but a warm hometown with 2389 relatives.
