Some plum blossom award winners are like spring deep cold plums, although the fruits hang on the branches and the flowers fall with the wind, they are now beyond the reach. Among them, there is the "Ah Qing sister-in-law" that we are all familiar with - Hong Xuefei. She was the winner of the 2nd Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award in 1985, and unfortunately died prematurely in a car accident in 1994, and it has been 25 years since she did not realize it.
Many fans know Hong Xuefei, mostly because of her successful portrayal of the role of Ah Qingyi in the Peking Opera movie "Sha Jiabang", especially in the "Wisdom Fight" scene, the humble and calm performance is extremely impressive, and it is not known that she was originally from Kun opera, and the later "Plum Blossom Award" was also won by "Bengong" Kun opera.
Born in 1941, Hong Xuefei was admitted to the Northern Kunqu Opera Theater in 1958 to study opera, which should be regarded as an "older student" for opera actors. She studied Zhengdan, studied under Han Shichang, Bai Yunsheng, Ma Xianglin and other predecessors, and then received instructions from Yao Chuanqian and Zhou Chuanying, who had no artistic skills, she was stunned by a spirit of hard work, and soon after learning art, she stood out with the role of attacking people in "Qingwen", and later became the only successor of Li Shujun, the head of The Northern Kun Dynasty.
Just as Hong Xuefei was making her debut in the Kun opera industry, a cultural catastrophe quietly arrived, and in 1966 she was forced to transfer to the Beijing Peking Opera Troupe to sing Peking Opera. I didn't think about this change of singing, but later I added a lot of color to the history of the Peking Opera Revolution Model Opera. In 1967, when rehearsing the modern Peking opera "Sha Jiabang", the original teacher Zhao Yanxia, the original role of Ah Qingyi, was forced to quit the role, and Hong Xuefei took the initiative to request to play Ah Qingyi, and the result was a hit, and it became popular all over the country because of the spread of the film of the same name recorded.
Of course, her success was no accident. Among them, it is inseparable from the script analysis done for her by director Chi Jinsheng; it is inseparable from the voice and singing voice that Zhang Junqiu's teacher "royal" organist He Shunxin helped her hang; it is inseparable from the support and support given to her by stage partners such as Tan Yuanshou, Ma Changli, Zhou Hetong; and it is inseparable from her own careful thinking and efforts. In short, the image of Ah Qingjie, a revolutionary woman with wit, bravery, composure and calmness, and skillful maneuvering, has "stood" here in her, becoming an indelible classic memory of the times.
Once you become famous, it is not easy to keep your heart. After becoming famous, Hong Xuefei can still maintain his reverence for art and a humble and studious attitude, and often ask actors who are far less famous than themselves and have unique insights and methods in singing because of a singing voice. After the Northern Kunqu Opera Theater was restored in 1979, she left the fame accumulated in the Peking Opera circle and returned to her original Kunqu opera post for the first time.
In the year of returning to the Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre, Hong Xuefei cooperated with Mr. Hou Shaokui in the Kunqu opera title "Sending Jing niang in a thousand miles", and with her free watch and transparent voice, the image of Jing Niang she created in the play once again amazed the drama world. Subsequently, Hong Xuefei co-starred with Ma Yusen in the drama "The Soul of the Chunjiang Qin", which was also the first newly compiled large-scale costume drama launched by the Northern Kunqu Opera Theater after the resumption of the establishment, and the image of the eunuch she created added a glamorous soul role to the Kuntan.
The sword blade came out of the grinding, and the plum blossom fragrance came from the bitter cold. In 1985, Hong Xuefei won the second Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award for his wonderful performances in "The Hall of Eternal Life" and "The Three Ladies". After that, she still devoted herself to the creation and inheritance of Kunqu opera with great artistic enthusiasm, bringing us "The Relics of the Southern Tang Dynasty", "Peach Blossom Fan", "Xihe" and other dramas. Her easy-going and low-key nature has also given her an excellent reputation among colleagues and industry peers.
If there are unexpected storms in the sky, misfortune is always unpredictable! In the early morning of September 14, 1994, Hong Xuefei was invited to perform at the Karamay Oil Factory in Xinjiang when he unfortunately rolled over and died at the age of 53. Shame! Sorry! The opera industry lost "Ah Qing's sister-in-law", and many viewers fell into the ice cave of the snow cellar because of their hearts, and tears and rain flew for a while. 25 years have passed in the blink of an eye, and we still remember this revolutionary heroine Ah Qingyi who used commander Hu as a windshield to "fight" Diao Deyi with her straw bale! Ah Qing sister-in-law is destined to be a classic memory of an era!
