Do you know Shang Yi, do you know Wu Yi?

author:Fanghua children

The Yin Shang Dynasty, a total of 17 generations and 30 emperors, lasted for more than 500 years, the emperor of the Kai Dynasty was named Tang, and the emperor of the extermination of the country was named Xin (that is, the famous King of Shang).

Compared with its predecessor Xia Dynasty (the Xia Dynasty was also about 500 years old, with a total of 14 generations and 17 emperors), the number of Shang emperors almost doubled, and the average reign of emperors was not long. Another feature of the Shang Dynasty is that of the 29 successions, 13 were passed from father to son, 13 times to brothers, and 3 times to uncles and nephews. This phenomenon became one of the triggers for the rise and fall of the Shang Dynasty several times, as stated in the "History of Yin Benji": "Abolishing the appropriateness and establishing disciples, disciples may compete to establish on behalf of each other, than the Ninth Dynasty, so the princes Mo Dynasty." "The practice of passing from father to son was arbitrarily destroyed, brothers competed for the throne, the dynasty was in chaos for a long time, internal strife was not only continuous, external troubles were continuous, and the princes naturally gathered and scattered. Sima Qian used five "xing" and six "declines" in the "History of Yin Benji", and its rise and fall can be seen repeatedly.

Performance Artist: Wu Yi

The Shang Dynasty rose and fell several times, and there were Ming emperors such as Pan Geng and Wu Ding, who revived the ancestral style and created a temporary prosperity; there were also emperors such as Heqi Jia and Wu Yi. Wu Yi is unscrupulous, absurd, and a creative "performance artist". The gods of heaven and earth have always enjoyed the worship of kings, but in the Wu Yi Dynasty, the days of the gods were very unbearable. Wu Yi asked him to make a puppet called "Tenjin", let people play chess with himself on behalf of the puppet, and if the "Tenjin" lost, he would be greatly humiliated by Wu Yi. Wu Yi also made a skin bag, which was filled with blood, hanging high and shooting it, called "shooting heaven". The idiom "sac blood shooting heaven" is derived from this, which refers specifically to tyrannical arrogance and committing disorder. It is hard to understand what made this king so hateful and contemptuous of Heaven. I don't know if Wu Yi's behavior angered the heavens, once, when he was out hunting in the Weihe River area of the Yellow River, he was struck by lightning and died!

The tyrannical Shang King

After Wu Yi, the Shang Dynasty was never revitalized, and when he arrived at Wu Yi's great-grandson Xin (the King of Shang), he was even more terminally ill and could not return. In fact, the King of Shang was a very talented man, according to the "History of Yin Benji", "Emperor Huanzi discerned the disease and smelled very sensitively; the material strength was superior, and the hand was fierce; he knew enough to be far away, and his words were enough to decorate the wrong; the people who were dignified were able to do it, and the voice of the world was high, thinking that they were all subordinate to themselves." "The King of Shang is extremely talented, extremely knowledgeable, able to speak eloquently, and has infinite strength. With the courage of a young man, he conquered Laiyi in the east and Jiumiao in the south, and extended the power of Shang to the East China Sea and the Yangtze River Valley. However, successive years of war in the southeast also led to the depletion of national strength, and the control of the zhou in the northwest direction was also neglected.

In addition to being arrogant and arrogant, the King of Shang was cruel by nature, not only inventing torture such as cannon burning, but also mutilating Zhongliang at every turn, and even the important courtiers and auxiliary government officials were often killed. Xi Bochang, Jiuhou, and Ehou Gui were the three dukes, but the King of Shang was unable to treat him kindly. The daughter of the Ninth Marquis entered the palace as a concubine, and was killed for not liking lasciviousness, and then the Ninth Marquis was also tortured with hǎi and chopped into meat sauce. The Marquis of Ehou was indignant and quarreled, and as a result, he was also sentenced to fǔ and made into dried meat. Xi Bochang quietly sighed because of this, was accused of being dissatisfied, and was imprisoned by Xi Bochang (Xi Bochang secretly cultivated virtue, and the princes were afraid of the King of Shang). Later, Xi Bochang's courtiers offered it to the King of Xi with "beautiful women and strange things and good horses", and the king of Xi Bochang was overjoyed, saying that "this thing is enough to release Xi Bo, but there are too many things", so he released Xi Bochang. He believes that any one of the "beautiful women and wonders and good horses" can redeem Xi Bochang, and the weight is light to this point, which shows that he is arrogant and conceited to the point of ignorance. The King of Shang also reused such adulterous and evil people as Fei Zhong and Evil Lai, making himself even more isolated and unaccompanied. The King of Shang was drunk and lustful, spoiled himself, levied taxes from the people, piled up money and grain in the palace treasury, and expanded the garden terrace to fill the palace with rare birds and animals. He also built a wine pond meat forest, where men and women chased each other naked and drank day and night for fun.

Kill than dry, dissect his heart

Against the perverse behavior of the King of Shang, the courtiers of the court advised him one after another, but he never repented. The chancellor Zu Yi, seeing that the Zhou kingdom in the northwest was gradually becoming stronger, made a statement to the King of Shang, saying that the Shang Dynasty's mandate of heaven was over, not because the ancestors did not protect it, but because the king did not obey the Heavenly Dao, and was tyrannical and immoral, and advised him to reflect on his repentance. But the King of Shang said, "I was born without a destiny in Heaven", which means that I was born to be a king, which is originally the Destiny of Heaven. Wei Zi qi was the half-brother of the King of Shang, and after many unsuccessful persuasions to the King of Shang, he fled Yin with Taishi and Shaoshi. Bi Gan was the uncle of the King of Shang, who had both moral integrity and ability, and assisted the former king and the king of Shang for more than 40 years. Legend has it that he has a heart of seven tricks, which can communicate with all things in the world and can make his eyes break all illusions. In the face of the atrocities of the King of Shang, Bi Gan sighed: "The Lord is not loyal, fearful of death is not brave, too much advice is not to die, loyalty is also", he believes that the emperor is at fault and the courtiers do not enter the advice is unfaithful, because of the fear of death and remain silent is not courageous, the emperor does not accept the advice of the courtiers will be advised by death. With the determination to die, Bi Gan went to the Star Picking Building for three days and refused to leave. Shang Yi rebuked Bi Gan why he was proud of himself, Bi Gan said: "Be proud of your self-esteem by doing good deeds and benevolence and righteousness", and the King of Shang Yi was furious: "I have heard that the heart of a saint has seven tricks of faith and all kinds of things?" "Kill Bigan and look at his heart!"

This is the difference between the strong and the violent: the strong are benevolent, and the violent are strong!

Seeing that the King of Shang was tyrannical to this point, King Wu of Zhou thought that the time was ripe, so he marched east to cut down the shang. At this time, the King of Shang did not have enough troops in the dynasty, and hastily organized an army with slaves to resist the Zhou people in Makino, and its combat effectiveness could be imagined. The slave army turned against the battlefield, and the King of Shang fled into the inner city, boarded the deer platform, put on his precious jade clothes, and went to the fire to die! The five-hundred-year-old Shang Dynasty collapsed.
