Cheng Jingsheng, born in 1963 in Macheng, Hubei, currently resides in Beijing. He studied oil painting in his early years and later specialized in Chinese painting and finger ink. He studied under famous artists such as Tang Wenxuan, Lu Muxun, Ding Mijin, Liu Huaiyong, and Yao Zhihua. He has participated in major exhibitions both domestically and internationally, and his works have participated in the 6th, 7th, and 8th national art exhibitions, winning awards for excellence and bronze.
I am currently a national first-class artist. Member of the Hubei Branch of the Chinese Artists Association, member of the New Literature and Art Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, Deputy Secretary General of the Calligraphy Research Association of the Chinese Couplet Association, member of the Chinese Artists Association, and Vice President of the Beijing Century Caifeng Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Member of the Artists Association of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Visiting Professor at the Confucius Art Museum.
The Chinese meticulous painting "Yangchun" won the "International Honor Gold Award" at the Second World Chinese Art Exhibition and participated in the National Urban Tour Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters in Beijing. Has held joint exhibitions or individual exhibitions in Beijing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Shandong, Guangdong and other places. The work has been collected by the China National Art Museum, Xiling Seal Engraving Society, Xu Beihong Memorial Museum, Wu Changshuo's former residence, as well as multiple art museums and international friends in the United States, Japan, Germany, Spain, Thailand, Canada, South Korea, and other countries.
In August 2000, participated in a charity shooting event for works sponsored by the China Artists Association and the Calligraphers Association on the "Sunset Red" program of CCTV。
In 2001, participated in the auction of Chinese calligraphy and painting masters in Wuhan.
In 2003, participated in the 6th National Fine Arts Auction of Calligraphy and Painting Masters held by Tianjin Guopai.
In 2012, China Post issued stamps at the 18th National Congress and won the Chu Tian Star Award for "Spring Farming" at the first Hubei Art Festival.
The work has been featured in individual interviews by "Fine Arts", "Calligraphy and Painting", "Art Daily", "Southern Daily", "Shantou Special Economic Daily", "National Defense Education Daily", CCTV's "Art Sea" program, Hubei TV, Huanggang City TV, and Macheng City TV, as well as special interviews by the new media "Inheriting the Past and Creating the Present" program of "People's Daily"! The publication of "Cheng Jingsheng's Collection of Paintings" has passed the ISC2001 Art Value Qualification Certification of the Ministry of Culture of China and has been included in the China Internet of Culture.
