因為“跑姿好看”，25歲外國運動員在中國火了
最近的成都大運會上，25歲的愛沙尼亞田徑運動員丹尼斯·薩米亞諾夫（Deniss Salmijanov）徹底火了！
Deniss Salmijanov is possibly the most famous foreign participant among Chinese fans at the Chengdu FISU World University Games.
因其帥氣健美的跑步姿态以及時常分享專業的跑步常識，他在某中文社交媒體上的粉絲量達到近200萬。
The 24-year-old middle-distance runner from Estonia boasts over 2 million followers on Chinese social media platform Douyin, with his posts about the games attracting thousands of likes and comments.
近日，他來到成都入住大運村并參加了28日晚的成都大運會開幕式，還參加了成都大運會田徑男子800米項目。
丹尼斯說自己是“跑得最快的牙醫”
丹尼斯不僅是一名田徑運動員，還是一名口腔科專業的醫學碩士生。他調侃自己是“跑得最快的牙醫”，還沒有牙科醫學生能跑過他。
Salmijanov has just graduated from the University of Tartu with a master's degree in dentistry, and describes himself as "the fastest dentist over 800 meters in the world".

“我對自己在比賽中的表現非常滿意，我真的很享受。”8月5日800米半決賽後，丹尼斯在社交媒體上發帖說。
"I am very satisfied with my performance at the event and I really enjoyed it," he posted on Douyin after his 800m semifinal on Saturday.
在接受記者采訪時，他表示：“這是我第一次參加大運會，我很高興能有這次經曆并盡我所能。”
"It is my first time participating in the University Games," Salmijanov told China Daily. "I am happy to have this experience and do my best."

Salmijanov failed to reach the 800m final, but he reckons the fierce competition at the games will help prepare him for future challenges.
"It is a very high-level competition, and it is important to take part in these competitions to collect experience," he said. "Because in the future there will be more of these kinds of races and you have to feel comfortable in them."
"I like to interact with the people on social media," he said. "They have positive energy and they are interested in my ideas."

Mostly sharing running tips initially, the 1.96-meter-tall Estonian saw his follower numbers mushroom, no doubt helped by his photogenic good looks.
"Sharing my videos is part of my life and it is a great way to inspire people and pass positive energy to others," he said. "Sports can bring health and friendship."
參加開幕式，“開心到飛起”！
得知成都将舉辦大運會後，丹尼斯開始了解這個主辦城市。他說：“我了解到成都以熊貓和科技發展而聞名。”
After learning that Chengdu would stage the University Games, Salmijanov began to do some research into the host city. "I found out that Chengdu is famous for its pandas and technology development," he said.
他對賽事的組織尤其是開幕式印象深刻。他說：“成都大運會的開幕式就像奧運會，煙花表演令人驚歎。”
He has been mightily impressed by the organization of the event and, in particular, the opening ceremony. "The opening ceremony of the Chengdu games was like the Olympic Games, and the fireworks were amazing," he said.

作為參加開幕式的運動員，丹尼斯記錄下開幕式的種種：熱情的現場觀衆、可愛的吉祥物“蓉寶”、震撼的煙火表演……他激動地在網上分享着自己的感受，并附文“開心到飛起”。
他說，成都的環境很好，大運村的相關裝置也很齊全，等一切結束後，他會第一時間去看大熊貓。
其實，對于一些中國網友來說，丹尼斯并不陌生。對于自己開通中國社交媒體賬号的初衷，丹尼斯表示，自己喜歡與中國社交平台上的人們互動。

丹尼斯說，每次釋出了一個視訊後，他都會仔細檢視網友評論，如果有網友想知道更多，他就會以此作為自己下一個視訊的内容主題：“做視訊分享我的生活，是一個激勵他們（網友）繼續前進的好主意。如果我激勵幾個人，他們就會得到這種能量，然後把它給另一個人。我認為這是一件大事！因為運動帶來了健康，也帶來了友誼。”
抵達成都後，許多成都網友都曾曬出自己與丹尼斯偶遇的照片或視訊，并表示丹尼斯非常親切熱情。
Salmijanov has enjoyed a warm welcome in China, with fans eager to pose for selfies alongside him.
丹尼斯則說，這樣的互動非常有趣，令他感到很愉快，“我喜歡和粉絲見面、打招呼、聊天，對我來說這是正能量。如果你隻做視訊，隻能看到數字，但是在大運村，可以面對面互動，這是不一樣的感受。”
"Meeting Chinese fans in the athletes' village and talking to them face to face is very fun," he told local media. "I like to interact with them."

在6月畢業後，丹尼斯大概花了40天學習中文，為成都之行做準備。他說：“漢語的聲調非常重要，需要發音準确。現在我正在努力掌握聲調。”
After graduating in June, Salmijanov started to learn Chinese in preparation for his Chengdu trip.
丹尼斯說，他的中文目前還不太流利，仍然需要練習。“我遇到了兩個難點，一個是讀中文，另一個是聽中文。我們知道，漢語以其聲調而聞名，聲調必須是完美的，但是我還沒掌握。”
"The tones of Chinese words are very important, and they need to be pronounced perfectly," he said. "Now I am trying to master the tones."
丹尼斯說，目前他将制作短視訊當作自己的中文訓練，“因為我可以練習不同的聲音和不同的單詞，尤其是那些關于運動的單詞，這很重要。”他表示，之是以學習中文，是希望探索更多的中國城市。
He's been trying to put his Chinese into practice in the short videos he produces for Douyin, but admits that he's still a work-in-progress when it comes to Mandarin. "My Chinese is not fluent yet, and I still need a lot of practice," he said. "Because I want to explore more Chinese cities."
