Linux Kernel存儲udp server的socket資訊跟蹤

前言

工作中遇到一個核心的bug,同僚給核心增加了socket綁定裝置接口id的功能,主要用在綁定VRF的時候,綁定特定的裝置。最近測試發現了,加了這個更新檔後,導緻不同vlan的dhcp server不能同時工作,為了解決這個問題,我對linux kernel如何存儲socket的相關功能進行了跟蹤,記錄如下。

應用層UDP Server建立

應用層調用socket, bind建立udp server

調用socket後會建立核心的struct sock結構體,也就是inet_create, 這個是在inet_init()函數中注冊的

(void)sock_register(&inet_family_ops); 針對TCP,UDP,RAW也有相應的回調函數注冊的協定族。

關于bind的最核心的是看這裡,核心是如何存儲這個socket的, 比如dhcp server,傳入的snum=67 就會根據這個值計算hash,如果多個接口都有,則根據sk_bound_dev_if來區分是哪個接口上的。最後加入hslot連結清單中。

OK, 到這裡, socket, bind都看過了,如何存儲的socket也知道了,那麼接下來看看請求來的時候,這個是怎麼處理的吧。

總結

本來解決問題的時候我還有很多模棱兩可的了解,寫了這個文章發現,系統調用看socket.c就好了,到這裡感覺對整體的了解又有點深入了。

udp server的socket的端口号,接口号是儲存在哈希連結清單的。但是這個struct sock的結構體是儲存在檔案系統的。
