March MPV sales list: Buick GL8 waist cut, Xena for the first time into the top three
In the MPV segment in March, the champions and runners-up were still Wuling Hongguang and Buick GL8, but it is worth noting that both models have experienced serious declines year-on-year. Among them, although Wuling Hongguang fell as much as 46.1%, but the sales of 13726 vehicles are also "beyond the reach" of other models, because from it, there are no more models that sell more than 10,000; Buick GL8 is down as much as 58.3% year-on-year, and sales in March are only 7839 vehicles.
The ranking of the third to fifth models has also changed, and the Trumpchi M8, which has been in the top three of the MPV list for many years, has been surpassed by Xena and Fengxing this month, of which Sai na sold 6444 vehicles in March, selling close to the Buick GL8, which is also the first time it has entered the top three ranks of the list since its listing at the end of last year. At the beginning of the listing, because of the forced price increase of the 4S store, the sales volume of Xena was extremely low, and as the price returned to a reasonable range now, the sales of Xena naturally went up, after all, Xena is indeed a family-level MPV with good comprehensive practicality. In addition, Dongfeng Fengxing's sales performance is also very good, selling more than 5,200 new cars in March, ranking fourth on the list.
In fifth place was the GAC Trumpchi M8, which sold only 4,400 units in March, down 22.9% year-on-year. Its "little brother" Trumpchi M6 performed well, up 68.7% year-on-year, and its sales in March were 3193 vehicles, ranking 7th in the list.
Honda's two brother models, the Odyssey (NO.6) and the Alexand (NO.9), performed mediocrely, with Odyssey selling 3,793 units in March, down 26.0% year-on-year, up 26.0% month-on-month, and Alexandre's sales in March were only 2,163 units, down 55.6% year-on-year. In addition, the year-on-year decline of Wuling Capgemini, which ranked 12th, was even more serious, with monthly sales of only 1750 vehicles, a decline of 74.7%.
In terms of growth, only 4 models in the top 15 of the list increased positively year-on-year, namely Trumpchi M6 (3193 units / No.7), Chase G50 (1768 units / No.11), Ono (1450 vehicles / No.13) and Vito (1428 units / No.14), of which the Chase G50 performed more brightly, with a year-on-year increase of 132.6%.
