Spring colors in flower and bird paintings in "Bumpy World: Invitation Exhibition on the Creation of Contemporary Chinese Painting Themes"

In April, the "Bumpy World: Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Painting Theme Creation: Flowers and Birds" was held at the Polaria Qingteng Art Center.

At this moment, Jiangnan, which is full of spring, is not very calm. Every moment of the world is unpredictable. War, epidemics, society, climate... The life that accompanies everyone is becoming more and more complicated and strange. The variables in the world's economy and culture are also obvious, so that the lives of every earthling are affected. The fast pace and uneasiness, like the bumpy ground, need a kind of strength to calm down. This power can convey the warmth between each other, elevate the value of simple quality and care to a height, and can comfort the heart, build friendship and trust, and transmit ideas to warm the world.

Curator Chen Ziyou said: "We are looking for something that can soothe the soul – maybe only art, especially the art that is most appropriate to China, the art of Chinese painting." It has a history of thousands of years, its way of expression is unique, its way of soothing people's hearts is also unique, it is consistent with our national cultural genes, but also gives us the Chinese nation generations of spiritual traction and attribution, but also should become a placebo and safety valve under the fast-paced life of contemporary people. ”

The flower and bird paintings in this exhibition, whether it is freehand or brushwork, whether it is fish and insects or flowers, all things have a spirit, not only with affection into the painting, but also the artist's personal understanding of life and self-expression in front of you and me. They are the breath of freshness, the pulse of the times, and the totem of life. These authors not only stand in the artistic language style of their predecessors, but also find the appearance of themselves. They are a group with a strong sense of freshness, they continue to develop themselves and live independent values.

In the works in the exhibition, such as the works of Wang Fa, Wang Jun, Shi Rongqiang, Li Na, Mao Binhui and Han Fei, the spiritual will of flowers, birds and birds is not only a manifestation of energy, but also the result of a contest between emotion and reason. The wonderful here makes people imagine that since the Two Song Dynasties, Huang Tsuen, Qian Xuan, Yun Nantian, etc. and more famous works in history have achieved their unique artistic language with the meaning of natural refinement, high rhyme, outline and run hair, grasp the variety, complete character, and achieve their unique artistic language. Such works, readable, meteorological, exquisite, gentle; several other painters who are in harmony with them, Such as Psyllium, Lü San, Liu Sanyu, Liu Geng, Li Yan, Ziyou, Ming Zhan, Yao Zhenxi, Qin Xiuping, Han Lu, etc., paint with affection, loose brush and ink, can be shaped for imagery, thick and thin, open and large, although not exquisite, but let people feel humorous, overwhelmed, interesting, each with its own color, becoming the leader of this era. Just as the so-called good people meet good paintings, they use their own thoughts, in the operation of pen and ink, to surprise the viewer, and then bring joy by the accident, and then forget the pain and unevenness of the world, bring the warmth and comfort of the soul, and also make this bumpy world have expectations and stability.

Chen Ziyou said that in the quiet and tranquil and elegant exhibition hall, comprehensive consideration of the works of several painters, we have reason to believe that the aesthetic taste and humanistic feelings presented in such an exhibition will allow the viewer to develop from different categories of works and taste a taste of their own - this is a possibility that all of us participating in the exhibition are willing to see. Anything is possible.

Every hopeful and grateful person is the strongest maintainer of order in the world. At the moment of the epidemic, we can make this originally bumpy world have a sense of security through the unexpected touch brought about by works of art and artists' thinking - feeling the many misfortunes brought by time and space in our world, but also grateful for the warmth given by the truth, goodness and beauty of the world, everything will be fine, which is where we care, and it is the unchangeable value that we promote or advocate.

"Bumpy World - Invitation Exhibition on the Creation of Contemporary Chinese Painting Themes" is a series of exhibitions, and after the "Flowers and Birds" exhibition, "Landscape Chapter" and "Character Chapter" will be held.
