据外媒报道，第57届格莱美音乐奖提名在美国当地时间5日早上开始陆续揭晓，美国歌手法瑞尔·威廉姆斯（pharrell williams）、碧昂斯（beyoncé）、英国歌手创作型男歌手萨姆·史密斯（sam smith）和音乐母带工程师（tom coyne）大获全胜，获得多项提名。
创作型歌手萨姆·史密斯（sam smith）、梅根·特瑞娜（meghan trainor），美国乡村、流行音乐歌手泰勒·斯威夫特（taylor swift），澳大利亚女歌手sia、饶舌歌手伊基·阿赛莉娅（iggy azalea）获得年度最佳唱片（record of the year）提名，此外，smith和azalea还获得最佳新人提名。
在最佳流行演唱专辑奖方面，萨姆·史密斯（sam smith）的英国老乡艾德·希兰（ed sheeran）依靠第二张个人大碟《x》获得提名，与此同时，酷玩乐队（cold play）的最新大碟《ghost stories》、阿丽亚娜·格兰德(ariana grande)的《my everything》，麦莉（miley cyrus）的《bangerz》以及水果姐凯蒂·佩里(katy perry)的《prism》均在提名名单当中。
与往年相比，今年格莱美提名公布的形式略有不同，年度最佳专辑奖将在当地时间晚9点至10点间举行的“格莱美圣诞特别节目”中单独公布。
