Li Qing, born in Beijing in 1964, is a professional painter. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Capital Normal University with a Bachelor's degree in Oil Painting in 1988. Formerly studied under the renowned art educator Professor Ding Cikang.
Director of the Chinese Artists Association, member of the Beijing Artists Association, member of the Beijing Oil Painting Society, member of the China Ethnic Minority Art Promotion Association, and vice president of the Western China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.
Received first prize in the evaluation of the 1985 Shoushi University Sketching Annual Exhibition.
The 1991 comic book work "The Peak of Daba Mountain in Winter" was published in the eighth issue of the Chinese Comic Art Journal in 1991.
In 1999, the oil painting "The Outside World" won a bronze award at the 4th Ethnic Hundred Flowers China Ethnic Minority Art Exhibition.
