Li Qing, born in Beijing in 1964, is a professional painter. In 1988, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Capital Normal University with a bachelor's degree in oil painting. He studied under the famous art educator Professor Ding Tzukang.
He is a member of the Chinese Painters Association, a member of the Beijing Artists Association, a member of the Beijing Oil Painting Society, a member of the China Minority Art Promotion Association, and the vice president of the Western China Painting and Calligraphy Art Academy.
In 1985, he won the first prize in the annual sketch exhibition of Beijing Normal University.
In 1991, the comic book "The Peak of Daba Mountain in Winter" was published in the eighth issue of China Comic Pictorial in 1991.
In 1999, his oil painting "The Outside World" won the bronze medal in the 4th National Hundred Flowers Chinese Minority Art Exhibition.
