Huang Zhongping, whose pen name is Mount Huangshan, was born in Qidong, Jiangsu Province in 1962. Member of the China Artists Association and the China Calligraphers Association, currently serving as a national senior researcher, central level expert, visiting professor of the Department of Painting at Tsinghua University School of Fine Arts, visiting professor of the China Education Alliance, member of the New Art Group Calligraphers and Painters Work Committee of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, national first-class artist, renowned painter, and vice president of the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Painting Art. Chinese national gift artist, member of the National Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Art Federation, member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, honorary chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, national senior artist, specially appointed calligrapher of the National Ethnic Painting Academy, and chairman of the Development Department of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association. He has participated in many national competitions and won prizes.
