Intelligent systems are ubiquitous in modern life. For instance, autonomous driving and intelligent road perception rely on various sensor devices to collect information about vehicles and the surrounding road environment, which is then analyzed and processed to provide traffic information and perception services.

传统单一传感器在识别复杂交通场景时存在局限性,而多传感器融合则能够整合多种异构数据源,提供更加精准全面的感知能力。简单来说,多传感器融合是将来自多种传感器的信息和数据,以一定的准则进行自动综合分析,最终产生对观测环境的一致性解释,从而完成决策和估计。

Traditional single-sensor systems have limitations in identifying complex traffic scenarios, while multi-sensor fusion can integrate multiple heterogeneous data sources to provide more accurate and comprehensive perception capabilities. Simply put, multi-sensor fusion could automatically synthesize and analyze information and data from multiple sensors according to certain criteria, ultimately producing a consistent interpretation of the observed environment so as to complete decision-making and estimation.

By fusing data from different sensors and utilizing advanced perception algorithms, it achieves precise identification and continuous tracking of traffic participants. It is worth mentioning that the algorithm adopts a distributed architecture based on edge cloud deployment, enabling multi-intersection perception and computation processing, forming a secure and efficient intelligent traffic fusion perception system based on 5G networks.
