Ji Kang, zi shu ye, the representative of Wei and Jin celebrities, he and Ruan, Shantao, Xiang Xiu and other seven people often they wandered between the mountains and rivers, with the pen in their hands, the piano in their hands, expressing their yearning for nature, so they are called "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest". During the Wei and Jin dynasties, there was political chaos and social suffering. However, it is extremely free and liberating in spirit, and therefore the era with the most artistic spirit. Ji Kang was born in this rather distinctive era. Although the family lineage is not prominent, it is far from being cold. His father, Ji Zhao, who had served as a zhishu attendant, had this exclusive convenience, and Ji Kang was known as a "wizard" in the township at a young age.
Because his father died early, he was raised by his mother and brother, and he was particularly fond of him, and Ji Kang's world from childhood to adulthood was poetry and far away. And the outstanding appearance, extraordinary demeanor, witty conversation, sharp arguments and caused a sensation, "Kyoshi is called a god man". Ji Kang, who coexisted in appearance and talent, was soon favored by the imperial family and married Cao Cao's great-granddaughter Changle Pavilion's empress dowager Bai Langzhong, and was awarded the title of Zhongshan Doctor. The title of "Ji Zhongsan" is derived from this. The marriage of a scholar and the royal family must be flat, but he used the stubbornness of half a life to rewrite the direction of the script.
Character determines fate, and Ji Kang was not born to be an official. Because what flows in his blood is dashing and uninhibited and true temperament. He admired the old and the solemn, and felt that to be a man should conform to nature, stretch freely, and should not be constrained by the officialdom. Therefore, when in 249 AD, after Sima Shi launched the Gaopingling Rebellion, when the general Sima Zhao hired him as an aide, Ji Kang lived in seclusion and played performance art - striking iron.
Even in Wei Jin, where the carriages and horses were very slow and the letters were far away, the fact that the former imperial court official and the young talent with the highest appearance in Great Wei had struck iron caused quite a stir, and hundreds of people often came to watch. In 261, Sima Zhao openly killed the Wei emperor Cao Zhao, and in the face of the world's leisurely mouth, Sima Zhao urgently needed the support of public opinion, at which time Ji Kang once again entered Sima Zhao's sight.
However, this time was different from the past, and Shantao, who was also one of the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest", saw the precariousness of the situation, so without Ji Kang's consent, he recommended Ji Kang to Sima Zhao to enter the dynasty as an official. After hearing this news, Ji Kang immediately wrote a letter of frequent golden sentences, "Renunciation with Shan Juyuan", and firmly refused to be discharged. At the same time, he scolded Shan Tao: "Don't see yourself as a good Zhang Fu, stronger than the people to wen crown also; they are addicted to stink and rot, and they raise ducks and chicks to die rats..."

The reasons for Ji Kang's killing were soon put on Sima Zhao's desk, and in 263 AD, because he was framed by the Lieutenant Colonel Zhong Hui, Ji Kang was sentenced to death for the crimes of "debauchery of speech" and "disorderly religion at the time". Ji Kang's execution has gone down in history. On that day, luoyang was crowded with people, three thousand students knelt down and asked Sima Zhao to pardon Ji Kang, and his brother Ji Xi hugged his favorite guqin and crowded at the front of the crowd.
But Ji Kang's face was like water, and his look was unchanged, just like usual. He looked at the shadow of the sun, knew that there was still a period of time before the execution, so he asked his brother Ji Xi for the piano he usually liked, sat on the floor, and stroked a song "Guangling San" on the execution ground. Qu Bi sighed, "In the past, Yuan Xiaoni (Yuan Zhun) used to study "Guangling San" with me, but I always spared and insisted on not teaching him, and "Guangling San" is now going to be lost."
Then, calmly to die, that year, Ji Kang was 39 years old, and the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest" who had lost his soul figure was also scattered in the bamboo forest.
