He was a proletarian revolutionary and statesman in New China, who was elected as the first vice chairman of the Central Military Commission and the president of the People's Republic of China.
He is Comrade Yang Shangkun of our party, yang Shangkun was born in 1907 in Shuangjiang Town, Tongnan County, Sichuan Province, and indeed it must be said that Yang Shangkun was a young comrade in my party, and he was born in the same year as Lin Shuai, Su Yu and other famous generals.
Like many of my leaders, Yang Shangkun also went abroad to study, in 1926, Yang Shangkun went to the Soviet Union to study at Moscow Sun Yat-sen University, during the study abroad Yang Shangkun still learned a lot of Advanced Technology and experience of the Soviet Union, 5 years later, that is, in 1931, Yang Shangkun successfully returned to China.
It must be said that Yang Shangkun really held a very important post as soon as he returned to China, successively serving as director of the Propaganda Department of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, secretary of the CPC Caucus, and director of the Propaganda Department of the Jiangsu Provincial CPC Committee.
In 1933, Yang Shangkun was sent to Ruijin to work, and successively served as vice president of the Party School of the Central Bureau of the Communist Party of China, director of the Political Department of the First Front of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, and other positions.
The following year Yang Shangkun took over as the political commissar of the Red Third Army, at this time the commander of the regiment was General Manager Peng, since cooperating with Yang Shangkun, General Manager Peng is still very fond of Yang Shangkun, although Comrade Yang Shangkun is young, but the work ability and experience are very prominent, so the cooperation between the two people is indeed extremely pleasant.
As for Chairman Mao, Yang Shangkun also admired him very much, and at the incomparably important Zunyi meeting of our party, Yang Shangkun also very resolutely supported Chairman Mao's decision to stand up and lead everyone.
With the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in an all-round way, Yang Shangkun successively served as deputy secretary and secretary of the Northern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and his main battlefield was in the anti-Japanese base area behind enemy lines in North China, and his task was to be responsible for assisting Mr. Zhu and Mr. Peng in guerrilla warfare.
During the Liberation War, Yang Shangkun served as the secretary of the Northern Bureau, and his main responsibility was to be responsible for receiving Chinese and foreign journalists to come to Yan'an for interviews, and during the use of this position, Yang Shangkun repeatedly used the opportunity to let the US military pick up and drop off commanders and fighters for us.
After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Yang Shangkun re-emerged to work for our Party, serving as vice governor of Guangdong Province, first secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal CPC Committee, member of the Standing Committee and secretary general of the Central Military Commission, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and so on.
In his later years, when someone asked Yang Shangkun about Chairman Mao's evaluation, Yang Shangkun said a word, that is:
"Chairman Mao and Mao Zedong Thought are the glorious banners of the Chinese Communists who will always stand in an invincible position in carrying forward the past and forging ahead."
Before Yang Shangkun died, he also left a last word to his descendants, so he hoped that the aftermath could be from Jane, and after cremation, he buried his ashes in his hometown of Tongnan County, and buried with Yang Dark's public security.
Here we must briefly mention Yang Dark Gong, yang Dark Gong is a revolutionary martyr of our Party, who was unfortunately arrested after the "March 1 Massacre" in 1927 and died heroically.
