Recently, the Provincial Government Information Administration issued the "Notice on Carrying out the Pilot Work of Accelerating the Expansion and Transformation of the E-government Extranet", and Jincheng City and Gaoping City under its jurisdiction were identified as the only municipal and county-level pilots. From September this year to July next year, the two places will fully complete the goals and tasks of speeding up the expansion and transformation of the e-government extranet in accordance with the requirements, and explore experience and provide reference for the construction of the "Shanxi sample" of e-government extranet construction services.
In recent years, all parts of Shanxi Province have continued to promote the construction of e-government extranets and achieved positive results. At present, the coverage of its government affairs extranet has been horizontally linked to nearly 130 municipal units and a small number of state-owned enterprises, vertically connected to the provincial e-government extranet, the lower six counties (cities, districts) and 77 townships, the coverage rate of cities, counties (districts), townships and towns has reached 100%, carrying more than 100 system businesses of more than 30 commissions and offices, in the network carrying capacity, network hierarchy, network equipment performance, Shanxi Province leads the way in terms of network connectivity rate, and has laid a solid foundation for building a collaborative and efficient government network environment.
It is understood that the main tasks of this pilot work include: speeding up and expanding the e-government extranet, transforming the "two-network isolation" technology of the government extranet terminal, and integrating and applying the new technology of the e-government extranet. The relevant persons in charge of Jincheng City and Gaoping City said that in accordance with the requirements of the intensive and integrated development goals of Shanxi Province's government information infrastructure, and in accordance with the working principle of "unified standards and first to try", the two places will conscientiously formulate and implement a high-speed, widely popularized, full-coverage and intelligent development plan for the e-government extranet, accelerate the integration and upgrading of the "one network" of digital government, further enhance the ability and level of digital government network services, and strive to explore the formation of an e-government extranet development and construction model suitable for the promotion of Shanxi Province.
