Mannella can immediately take over five of United's managers: Zidane, Loew, Bruce and others

After the loss to Manchester City, solskjaer's position was threatened again, and although he was likely not to be out of class for a short time, Manchester Evening News reporter Omar Garrick still listed five coaches who could take over Manchester United immediately, namely Zidane, Lonnick, Loew, Fonseca and Steve Bruce.

Omar Garrick said there were not many people to choose from in the coaching market right now and United's best bet would be to appoint a transition coach and wait until next summer to make a decision.

Zidane

It's a clear fact that Zidane is probably the number one person on many people's wish lists. Zidane led Real Madrid to a three-time champions league title, and no one will question his management ability, which is a brilliant achievement.

There is no doubt that Zidane will come to Old Trafford with his status, he has already coached players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Varane, and there is ample evidence that he once wanted to bring Pogba to Real Madrid. He's probably the best option for a layman, but we're not sure he'll come to Manchester United, but he's worth a try.

Lonnick

Lonnick, 63, has extensive coaching experience at top clubs, but he hasn't been in management for a while. Lonnick is considered a catalyst for today's group of German coaches, and his concept of gegenpressing is extremely influential: trying to regain the ball as soon as he loses the ball, rather than falling into defense.

Lonnick's most successful period was in Schalke, where he won the German Cup and reached the Champions League final four, Lonnick was a good temporary candidate, but United should consider other options.

Loew

Loew has been relatively successful in coaching Germany, leading the team to win the 2014 World Cup and the 2017 Confederations Cup. The 61-year-old coach, who became coach since 1992, will bring a wealth of experience to Old Trafford and can get something out of the Manchester United team he has today.

Is Löw the best solution? Maybe for the time being, but as said before, United should think about it because there will be better options in the coaching market next summer.

Fonseca

He has been linked to a number of clubs since Fonseca left Roma, but the Portuguese have yet to find a new owner and he could be an option for United.

The 48-year-old has won nine trophies since taking charge and is known for his 3412 formation, which is exactly the one United has been playing in recent weeks, and Fonseca has allowed United to operate in that formation. Again, Fonseca is just a transition coach and we won't hire any of them for long, except Zidane, unless they lead United to the Champions League.

Steve Bruce

We can't rule him out and despite having just been sacked by Newcastle, he will definitely give United a way of playing by handing the ball over to Cristiano Ronaldo. You can't hate Bruce because he's a good guy and a Manchester United legend. If he comes to the club, he will definitely give it his all and I might even see him lift the Champions League trophy (please take this as a joke).
