In 1904, Wu Yin (Wu Shiqian) and Ding Fuzhi, Ye Pinsan and Wang Fu'an jointly organized a printing society, inviting famous seal engravers at home and abroad to join the society to discuss the art of seal engraving and printing, for many literati and scholars to exchange and explore the culture of jinshi. Because the site is located in the isolated mountain of Hangzhou, adjacent to Xiling, it was named "Xiling Printing Society".

Wu Yingong is good at calligraphy, good at landscapes, flowers and birds, fine philology, a variety of seal engraving styles, imitation of Han Zongzhe, and abide by the norms. Although Wu Yin's calligraphy and painting works are rare at present, his lines are pure and natural, and the portrayal of the gods shows the depth of his skills.

Wu Yin's grandfather Yue Lun and father Qingcheng are not well known. There are four brothers in total, and Wu Yin is the jizi. Wu Yin lost his father at an early age and relied on his mother for his life. When he was young, he was not rich, but when he was a little older, he made a living by stonemasonry. Because of his family's poverty, he carried a box of books from Shanyin to a carving shop in Hangzhou to learn engraving tablets when he was more than ten years old, and made a living from it. He studied diligently and diligently, and often bought gold and stone takumotos to study and paint. Around 1881, he and Ye Weiming worshiped Under the Bai Men and received a relatively good artistic education of the same era. Because he entered the Tao from the engraved inscription version, he practiced the miracle of cutting iron like mud with one hand, and he was also good at "general art and practice", and he became a famous inscription master in Zhejiang very early.

In his early years, he set up his own engraving workshop in Shanghai, developed printing clay, engaged in the editing and publication of catalogues and genealogies, and opened a bookstore. Use the remaining funds to collect ancient seals, ancient and modern seals, as well as gold graphite books such as pottery, bricks, and ancient coins. In particular, he is rich in the collection of Qin and Han seals. In 1895, he published the first four volumes of the "Seal of the Distant Nunnery" (Ming and Qing) edited with his collection, and one volume (Ancient Seal Seal). Later, he successively edited and published "Hidden Golden Stone", "Ancient Pottery Cun", "Ancient Brick Cun", "Selected Ancient Seals of SuiYi" and so on. Around 1900, more than 300 ancient and modern celebrities were collected, which were condensed and engraved in the stone "Ancient and Modern Yang Lianhui Carving", and Wu Changshuo carved and printed into dozens of kinds of "Yanlu Yincun" in two sets and four volumes. His completed books include literati seal engraving and seal notation, ancient seal seal notation, printing literature, gold stone materials, and celebrity calligraphy and painting atlases. The publication of these notation books has a profound impact on the development of modern printing.
