Ricky Rubio (born 21 October 1990 in El Masno, Barcelona, Spain) is a Spanish professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for the NBA Utah Jazz.

Ricky Rubio was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 5th pick in the 1st round of the 2009 NBA Draft[1], but did not officially join the Timberwolves until the 2011–12 season due to contract issues with the parent team, during which time he won the Europa League championship in 2010. He was named to the NBA's All-Rookie First Team in 2012 and was traded to the Utah Jazz in 2017.
