Live Bar June 17, 2017 According to the famous Shams report today, Downey Nelson will step down as general manager of the Lone Ranger and president of the basketball operations department.

Downey Nielsen joined the Lone Ranger in 1998 as deputy general manager and has been with the Lone Ranger ever since.

Downey Nelson is the son of former NBA coach Don Nelson.
