The recent launch of the eighth batch of burials of the remains of the martyrs of the Korean Chinese Volunteer Army has touched the hearts of people of all ethnic groups throughout the country. The heroic souls of 109 volunteer martyrs and 1226 related relics returned to the embrace of the motherland, and the burial ceremony was solemnly held in the Martyrs' Cemetery of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in Shenyang. Up to now, China has welcomed the remains of 8 batches of 825 volunteer martyrs in Korea to china for 8 consecutive years. At the historic moment of the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, together with the relevant departments of the military and localities, solemnly welcomed back the eighth batch of martyrs of the Korean Volunteer Army who were buried in korea, displayed the image of the century-old party, continued the party's red genes, carried forward the great spirit of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea, guided the whole society to profoundly remember the arduous course and great victory of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, comforted the martyrs and their families, and established a good trend of advocating heroes and remembering the martyrs in the whole society.

The merits of the martyrs are impressive, and the heroic names of the martyrs have been passed down through the ages. More than 70 years ago, in order to defend peace and resist aggression, the Chinese party and government resolutely made the historic policy decision of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea and defending the homeland; the heroic Chinese People's Volunteer Army held high the banner of justice and, together with the Korean people and army, sacrificed their lives and forgot their deaths and fought bloodily, won the great victory in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, made tremendous contributions to world peace and the cause of human progress, and forged the great spirit of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea. In this war, more than 197,000 heroic sons and daughters sacrificed their precious lives for the motherland, for the people, and for peace. Over the past 70 -odd years, we have never forgotten the immortal merits of the revolutionaries of the older generation in safeguarding international justice, defending world peace, and defending the new republic, never forgetting the officers and men of the Chinese Volunteer Army who composed the heroic praises of the mighty mountains and rivers, and all the people who contributed to the victory of this war, and never forgetting the martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. Moving back to the remains of the volunteer martyrs in Korea and holding a solemn burial ceremony is to vigorously praise the martyrs of the volunteer army and express our deepest remembrance and highest respect.

A nation with hope cannot do without heroes, and a country with a future cannot do without pioneers.
