Foshan is the "food town" of the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong, with many traditional delicacies, and some folk tales, such as "Foshan Blind Cake", which was originally made to coax children.
More than a hundred years ago, there was a "Qianqian Hall" near the Foshan Ancestral Temple, and there was a table in front of the door, and the four characters of "Fortune Telling" were pasted on the wall. This is the blind husband and wife stall of He Shenglang, and the business is still booming.
After a year, the people who only see the incense on the ancestral temple are endless, and this stall is slowly desolate. The couple who rely on this profession to make a living, their hearts are fifteen and sixteen, and they can't help but look sad.

The next day, the situation did change, the children stopped arguing, and the women sat down with peace of mind. Over time, people forgot the name "protruding skull cake" and called these cakes "blind cakes", and He Shenglang's stalls flourished again.
The "Blind Cake" attracted customers, making the couple more elaborate. Later, because of the increasing demand, they hired a person, specialized in production, and changed from free supply to price selling. Unexpectedly, after the pricing was sold, some people who did not divinate and asked for fortune also came to buy it, and they actually rushed to buy it.
After He Shenglang had the capital, he ended his career as a squatter, hired a few guys, selected high-quality materials, and opened a "Heji Cake Shop" in Heyuan Street to make blind cakes. This sweet and crispy cake is popular with local and foreign tourists in Foshan. Before liberation, it was sold to Singapore, Nanyang and other places. The name of the blind cake has also become popular throughout the country.
