The meeting deliberated and voted on the "Decision of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress on Doing a Good Job in the Prevention and Control of the New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic in accordance with the Law"; voted to appoint Chen Shuang as the director of the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Liu Qun as the vice chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the 15th Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress; and deliberated the "List of the Presidium and Secretary-General of the Fifth Session of the 15th Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress (Draft)".
After the meeting, the chairman meeting of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress organized a constitutional oath-taking ceremony, and Chen Jianhua presided over and supervised the oath. Chen Shuang and others took the constitutional oath, and Chen Jianhua issued a letter of appointment to the newly appointed state functionary.
