For ordinary people, watching movies is a pleasure of cultural consumption; for visually impaired friends, it is a difficult thing to hope for.
In Handan, Hebei Province, there is such a person, she led a group of volunteers, with her voice as the "eyes" of visually impaired people, explained more than 7,000 movies for more than 10 years, helped them realize their desire to "watch movies", and lit up the hearts of visually impaired friends.

Kong Yuanyuan talking about the movie "Hello, Li Huanying"
Her name is Kong Yuanyuan, the initiator of the "Angel's Eye" volunteer service team in Handan, Hebei Province.
Kong Yuanyuan is a native of Heze, Shandong Province, studied at the Beijing Broadcasting Institute in her early years, and after graduation, she worked at Handan Television Station, where she was a professional announcer during working hours, and when she was off work, she led a volunteer team to "talk" movies to visually impaired friends.

The "Angel's Eye" volunteer service team dates back to 2006.
At that time, a visually impaired friend confided in Kong Yuanyuan: "If you give me three days of light, my wish is to be able to watch a movie." ”
This sentence touched Kong Yuanyuan, and she and some volunteers decided to use their own voices to make the "eyes" of the visually impaired, which not only allowed blind friends to realize their desire to "watch" movies with their ears and hearts, but also brought light and color to their dark world.
Kong Yuanyuan is talking about movies for visually impaired friends
"Talking" about movies is not an easy task.
In order to accurately express in the process of explanation, Kong Yuanyuan needs to be familiar with the scenes, lines, and music in the film, usually preparing a movie, watching it about 20 times, making more than 30 pages of notes, carefully writing the explanatory words of the whole movie, and letting the volunteers listen to it repeatedly.
She will also blindfold herself, feel and practice in person, and be fully prepared before going up in public to explain to her visually impaired friends.
Before each screening of the film, Kong Yuanyuan will first tell the storyline to the visually impaired friends, introduce the main characters, and then play the movie. The description of the part of the film with no dialogue, only pictures or music, allows the visually impaired to connect the plot through hearing. Throughout the movie, she described the film picture in a stitch, and used her voice to explain the story of light and shadow for the visually impaired group.
In the past 15 years, the volunteer service team has screened more than 7,000 films of different types for tens of thousands of visually impaired people in Handan through the form of mobile cinemas.
In the world perceived by the blind, the colors are gray and dark, because there is less contact and interaction with the outside world, and many times the heart is slowly closed. Kong Yuanyuan hopes that the "Angel Eye" can open a window for blind friends, bring a little hope, let their world have colorful colors, let them be confident and self-reliant in the light that flashes in their hearts...
She also hopes that the blind cinema can be built as soon as possible, and the popular movies in the cinema can also be seen by blind friends for the first time.
