Chen Junfeng, a native of Haozhou, Anhui Province, lives in Beijing; pen name: Wu Chan.

Since he was a child, he studied calligraphy and painting, and once studied freehand flowers and birds with Mr. Li Kuchan, a master of Chinese painting, and was especially known for painting eagles. Mr. Chen Xiandong (Taiwanese), the founder of Houbai Poetry Portrait Painting, studied poetry portrait painting. Chen Junfeng's painting method inherits the ink rhyme of the Ku Zen master's thick ink, majestic momentum, refined composition, and materialization and transmission of the gods. On the basis of the teacher Mr. Chen Xiandong, his poetic portrait paintings are uniquely combined with Chinese and Western ink on rice paper, with a comfortable visual impact, strong color contrast, and unique modeling mechanism, which makes people infinitely imaginative.
