On March 5, Sun Yan, secretary of the Party Committee of Northwest Xincun Community, led the relevant person in charge of the co-construction unit and the medical staff of the community health service station to the home of Chen Shangzhi, a resident of the district, and handed over a brand-new electric wheelchair car to the elderly, realizing the "micro-wish" of the elderly.
Chen Shangzhi, 65 years old this year, is a resident with severe physical disabilities of the second degree, and the lighting of the "micro wish" allows the elderly to improve the function of the body with the help of wheelchairs in the future and solve the long-standing problem of going out. Sun Yan, secretary of the Northwest Xincun Community Party Committee, told reporters: "When Chen Shangzhi was 10 years old, he was playing in the air raid shelter due to the sudden collapse of the air raid shelter, resulting in severe disability, unable to move his limbs, staying at home for many years, and basically unable to take care of himself. ”

At the site of the gift, the volunteers helped Chen Shangzhi, who usually used a small bench to sit on the wheelchair, adjusted the height and comfort of the wheelchair, patiently explained the use method and precautions to him, at the same time, the staff of the community health service station also conducted an on-site free consultation for him. "Thanks to the care of the community and the caring unit, I haven't been out much in 50 years, and now that I have a wheelchair, I can often go out and walk around and pull home with my old neighbors..." Chen Shangzhi said happily to Sun Yan.
