Confucius said, "King Wu of Zhou and Duke of Zhou can probably be called people who have mastered filial piety!" The so-called filial piety is good at inheriting the legacy of the ancestors and good at continuing the unfinished business of the ancestors. During the spring and autumn festivals, the ancestral temples are renovated, sacrificial utensils are displayed, clothes left over from the previous kings are displayed, and delicious food is offered to sacrifices.

Therefore, the practice of filial piety begins with serving both parents, and then is carried forward in the process of serving the monarch, and the ultimate purpose is to achieve one's own virtue.
"The one who attains filial piety, who reaches above and below, who reaches the shadows, the so-called filial piety, is connected to the gods, and the light is in the four seas, and the one who knows everything is also." The so-called filial piety is not only to filial piety to our parents, but also to filial piety to our ancestors, to carry forward the virtues of our ancestors, and to settle the spirit of our ancestors. Sacrifice to ancestors, respectful and pious, solemn and solemn, "things die as things are born, and things die as things exist." This is the meaning of filial piety!
