She married Wu Chongxun as the lord of Anle County. Wu Chongxun is the second son of Wu Sansi, who is obsessed with Li Shu'er, and his endless efforts and doting have almost no bottom line.

He also advised Princess Anle several times to ask Li Xian to depose Li Chongjun as king and Princess Li Anle as the imperial concubine, which made Li Chongjun indignant.
In July of the first year of Jinglong (707), Li Chongjun and the general Li Duozuo of Zuo Yulin (左羽林) and others ordered more than 300 of Yu Lin's army to kill Wu Sansi and Wu Chongxun in his palace, and to order more than ten of his pro-party members to enter the gate, knock on the cabinet gate and arrest Shangguan Wan'er.
Shangguan Wan'er hurriedly fled to Li Xian and Empress Wei, and threatened: "Prince Guan's intention is to kill Shangguan Wan'er first, and then hunt down the empress and her majesty in turn." Li Xian and Wei Hou were furious for a moment, so they took Shangguan Wan'er and Princess Anle to the Xuanwu Gate to avoid the soldiers, and ordered the Right Yulin general Liu Jingren to lead more than 2,000 people to fly in front of the Tun Taiji Hall and defend themselves behind closed doors. Li Chongjun was defeated and killed.
After Wu Chongxun's death, Princess Anle had an affair with Wu Yanxiu and immediately married him. On the day of the marriage, he borrowed the empress's car and sent it from the palace to his home, li xian and Wei Hou went out to visit the Anfu Gate, and ordered shi Dou Huaizhen, the governor of Yong prefecture, to be the head of the imperial court, the scholar of Hongwenguan, as the chancellor, and Li Dan, the king of Xiang, to obstruct the car, and donated countless gold to him. Princess Anle gave birth to a child on the full moon, and Li Xian and Wei Hou came to her home and pardoned the world.
The coup was denounced
At that time, Princess Anle and Princess Changning and Princess Ding'an plundered the children of commoners as slaves, zuotai attendant Yushi Yuan was sent to prison from a bondage, Princess Anle entered the court to complain, and Li Xian issued an edict for her and ordered her release. From the beginning: "Your Majesty accepted the princess's complaint and connived at the slaves to plunder the commoners, so why rule the world?" In June of the fourth year of Jinglong (710), Li Shu'er conspired with Empress Wei to poison Li Xian, and Li Xian was poisoned and violently killed, and Wei Hou arranged all his henchmen and clansmen for the government of the Tai Cabinet, the power of internal and external soldiers and horses, and the central forbidden army, and the power of the government fell into the hands of Wei Shi. Shangguan Wan'er and Princess Taiping drafted a testament, appointing Li Chongmao as crown prince, Li Dan the Prince of Anguo as the assistant, and Empress Wei as the regent of the empress dowager to balance the forces of all sides, but the chancellor Zong Chuke and Wei Wen changed the edict and persuaded Wei Hou to emulate Wu Zetian.
