The design of the Wanlong Road North Extension Line starts from the intersection of Xiangyang Road and Wanlong Road in Longchang City, and ends at the intersection of Longjie Expressway and North Ring Road, with a total length of about 1.4 kilometers, spanning the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway. After completion, it will be the most convenient road for Longchang Urban Area and high-speed rail groups. It is estimated that it currently takes about 25 minutes to drive from the main city of Longchang to Longchang North Railway Station, while the future of the Wanlong Road North Extension Line will be shortened by more than 10 minutes.
"At present, the masses in Longchang City need to pass through Renmin Middle Road, cross the Renmin Bridge, pass through North Ring Road and then enter the Longjie Expressway, with a detour distance of up to 5.8 kilometers, and the Wanlong Road North Extension Line bends and straightens, saving 4.4 kilometers, which will greatly facilitate the connection between Longchang Urban District and the high-speed rail group." The remaining two sub-projects are the Southern Extension of Bandung Road and the Northern Section of Bandung Road. Among them, the northern section of Bandung Road has passed the acceptance and delivered for use on September 28 this year.
"The southern extension is 2.3 kilometres long and includes an 880-metre-long viaduct with a net height of 60 metres and a net span of 90 metres.
