Over the years, the Anhui painter Zhang Song has adhered to the creative idea of "establishing a biography for the mountains and rivers of the motherland", created a large number of art works with far-reaching influence, promoted the process of contemporary Chinese landscape painting, and left a brilliant mark on the history of modern and contemporary Chinese art. His works reflect a strong sense of painting and culture, refining from a large number of sketches, emphasizing the realization of self-unity and consistency on the basis of natural beauty. In his light and simple brush and ink, what is contained is the soul of the motherland's mountains and rivers, showing the harmonious unity of man and nature, so that the landscape imagery in the picture is sublimated into a spiritual realm, reaching the depths of history, culture, and soul. As a contemporary painter, Zhang Song has positioned his art in the context of contemporary culture, and established his own artistic goals and directions in inheritance and innovation.
The works in this exhibition are the crystallization of Mr. Zhang Song's trek sketches, exhibiting a total of Zhang Song's classic representative works from 50 years of art, depicting the style of mountains and rivers in various parts of the motherland, which can stimulate the people's deep love for the motherland, enhance national pride, use painting as a medium to enhance the cultural self-confidence of the Chinese people, make their own contributions to the prosperity and development of socialist literary and artistic undertakings, the construction of a socialist cultural power, the realization of the "two hundred years" goal and the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
