On October 15th, after a few days of autumn rain, ushered in the wind and beautiful day, the global Chen Chinese came to Huaiyang Chen Hu Gong Cemetery as promised, to commemorate the 3105th anniversary of the birth of Chen Hu Gong, the ancestor of chen surname.
Chen Hu was named Concubine Man, a descendant of Yu Shun. After King Wu of Zhou destroyed Shang, he sealed him to Chen Di and married his daughter Daji to him. Concubine Manxiong was able to build the State of Chen, build the city of Chen, build hundreds of industries, and benefit the people, so that Chen Guoxiong ranked among the twelve princely states. King Wu of Zhou enfeoffed Concubine Man to the State of Chen, the Chen clan of Qitu Ming, and after the death of Concubine Man, the Zhou Dynasty gave him the title of Duke of Hu, and the descendants took his courtesy name as Hu, which is the origin of the Chen surname and the Hu surname.
Chen Hu Gong Cemetery, also known as Hu Gong Tie Tomb, has a history of more than 3,000 years. When Chen Hugong died, it was the age of the tomb but not the tomb, but for the princes and highly respected civil and military courtiers, a worship hall could be built on the mausoleum. Therefore, the Chen Hu Cemetery room was built underground, and the worship hall built on the ground has long ceased to exist, and archaeologists have found pottery pieces and Warring States tiles from the Western Zhou Dynasty here, confirming the construction of the Chen Hu Cemetery and the Chen Hu Gong Worship Hall in that year. Wang Liangchen, a ming dynasty scholar, wrote in a poem: "The cleverly cast iron coffin hides under the water, and the light leaves leave jade leaves to illuminate the world." According to historical records, the Hu Cemetery was cast with iron juice, also known as the Chen Hu Cemetery.
Chen Hugong's descendant, The surname Chen, is leafy, with more than 90 million people, all over the world. Since 2014, it has been handed down for more than 120 generations, especially in Fujian and Taiwan Provinces, known as "Chen Lin Half the World", and the Chen family can be described as a great Yang Dynasty. The consensus of the Chen clan in the world: the Chen clan is all over the world, Huaiyang is the hometown; the Chen clan is 80 million, and the ancestors are all Hu Gong. The Stone Arch Gate Link reads: Fa Wan Qiu Wei Wei Sheng Zhi Ling Dynasty; Li Chen surname Mian Mian descendants all over the five continents. As a result, the number of Chen clan people from all over the world who came to seek their roots and worship their ancestors was increasing.
In order to better welcome the Chen Family Xianda at home and abroad to find the roots of the ancestors and the eight parties of the guests and friends sightseeing tourism, in 2014, the ancestral government has made a comprehensive restoration of the Overall Plan of the Chen Hu Gong Cemetery, the cemetery covers an area of 58 acres, surrounded by water on three sides, beautiful scenery. With the support of the local government and the efforts of the relatives surnamed Chen, the Shinto to the Chen Hu Cemetery has been renovated, the square in front of the tomb has been newly repaired, and the large stone archway, the simple and elegant Hu Gong Hall and the Hu Gong statue of Wei'an have been built. At present, the cemetery has become a sacred place for the majority of Chen clan people to find their roots and ancestors, and has become an ideal place for sightseeing and traveling to guests from all over the world.
Liu Shujie, member of the Standing Committee of the Huaiyang County CPC Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, and chen clan relatives had a cordial conversation at the ceremony.
Li Junfa, president of the Zhoukou City Surname Culture Research Association, came to the stage to deliver a welcome speech.
Chen Shufang, president of the Huaiyang Chen Hugong Cultural Research Association, introduced the construction and future development of the Chen Hugong Cemetery.
The Chen Hugong Cultural Research Association also issued a letter of appointment to Chen Junting's relatives who had made great contributions to the mausoleum.
At 9:15 a.m., the ceremony to commemorate the 3105th birthday of Chen Hugong, the ancestor of the Chen surname, officially began.
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Chen Weidong, Secretary General of Huaiyang Chen Hugong Cultural Research Association, who first introduced the guests from the Chinese Chen clan from all over the world.
The ceremony consists of ten items.
The first item: announce the ceremony of sacrifice and begin to play the music of the cannon.
The second item: to present a flower basket to the ancestors.
Item 3: Offering.
Item 4: Respect for incense.
Fifth: Offering wine.
Item 6: Tribute.
Seventh; Worship. Perform three bows.
Item 8: Honor the incense.
Item 9: Gurudwara.
Item 10: The end of the ceremony.
