At the opening plenary meeting, Wang Bin, deputy director of the Department of Market Operation and Consumption Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce, pointed out that it is necessary to accelerate the construction of a new development pattern of cascade consumption, efficient use and green circulation.
China's automobile sales have ranked first in the world for 12 consecutive years, with more than 25 million cars sold every year, accounting for nearly 1/3 of global automobile sales. At present, the number of cars in China has reached 297 million, and it will exceed 300 million by the end of the year. The development of China's auto market has provided huge dividends for the development of enterprises in various countries. At present, China's auto market is in a critical period of structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading. As the increase in automobiles tends to be stable and the stock of automobiles continues to rise, the automobile market has gradually entered a mature stage of development.
Wang Bin believes that China still has a lot of room for development in the incremental market for new cars, the stock market for used car transactions, and the import and export of automobiles. In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will stabilize the consumption of new cars, support the accelerated development of new energy vehicles, focus on expanding the circulation of second-hand cars, standardize the development of scrapped motor vehicle recycling and automobile aftermarket, improve the automobile use management system, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern of the automobile market with cascade consumption, efficient use and green circulation, and further promote and drive the high-quality development of the entire automotive industry chain.
