Qian Fang, duty station manager: The "iron" blood tenderness of sticking to the post during the Spring Festival

Huasheng Online, February 14 (Reporter Long Teng, correspondent Sun Yuting) "Why did you choose to leave the familiar environment and come to Changsha to start over?" Wish it was closer to home. Qian Fang, who has worked at Baotou Railway Station for more than 10 years, was hired as a duty station manager at the Changzhutan Intercity Railway Pioneer Station last year, and this year's Spring Festival, as in previous years, she was unable to go home to spend time with her family.

Flowing "iron" blood

Qian Fang, 38, joined the railway in 2004 after retiring from the army. At that time, she was still a young girl, full of curiosity about the mystery and particularity of railway work.

"The master leads the door, and the practice depends on the individual." This sentence could not be more appropriate for her. At the time, her master was an old passenger with nearly 30 years of work experience.

"The first position I studied was as a platform passenger. At that time, I liked this job in my heart, and it felt very interesting. At that time, I was not yet 20 years old, and I was curious about everything I saw and wanted to try. Qian Fang quickly integrated into the railway family.

For the management of the team, Qian Fang has high self-requirements. "Sister Fang is scary when she is strict, but it does allow us to improve." This is what the little girls and boys in the team said about her.

"I think the essence of railway passenger transport work is the safety and intimate service of passengers. It's like the blood flowing in the body, if there is no blood, only the shell is left. She made a figurative analogy.

Big sister of friends

Qian Fang's team is basically young people in their 20s, and Qian Fang is their big sister.

"In them, I see myself more than 10 years ago." For the young people in the group, she treated them as her younger siblings.

At work, in addition to being a demanding duty station manager, she also assumes multiple roles: a patient psychological mentor, a responsible business expert, a professional substitute colleague...

Qian Fang, who is careful in his work, always carries a notepad with him, records the problems encountered and the things he has experienced in his daily work, highlights the places and deficiencies that he feels have done well, and then takes it out to carefully ponder where there are defects in the service when he is free, and where further improvement is needed. What is valuable is that she always communicates these problems with the young people in the group and tells them how to avoid such problems.

Most of the stations of the Changzhutan Intercity Railway adopt the "running post" operation mode: that is, the staff must master the post skills such as the entrance, gate, exit, platform, ticketing, etc., and can skillfully switch to different positions in daily work.

Qian Fang is a professional substitute in the team. When she met the colleague at the gate to go to dinner, she immediately made up for it, and then she couldn't go to dinner by herself, and went to the station to replace the post. I often wait for everyone to finish eating before I go to dinner.

Mom's "Indebtedness"

"I feel that I owe my son a lot, and I have too little companionship." Talking about her 6-year-old son, Qian Fang's eyes were moist.

After coming to Changsha, Qian Fang also took her son with her, and due to the special nature of the railway work shift, the child has been in institutional custody. Qian Fang's husband works in Zhejiang, and the family of three rarely has the opportunity to reunite.

The child is about to have a birthday, she asks the child what gift he wants for his birthday, and the child replies: "Mom, can you give me a phone watch on my birthday?" Before Qian Fang asked the child why he wanted to call the watch as a birthday gift, the child continued: "I can call you at any time when I miss you!" Speaking of this, the strong Qian Fang burst into tears.

This year's Spring Festival, her husband took the child back to her hometown for the New Year, leaving her in Changsha to stand firm.

"It's good for a child to go back to his hometown for the New Year, and he will definitely be very happy with his father, grandparents, grandparents." Qian Fang said happily, although she was reluctant.
