In the early spring of 1976, I tearfully bid farewell to my parents and relatives, embarked on the journey of pursuing my dreams, and came to the 38th Army of the Baoding Army to serve in the military and became a glorious soldier of the People's Liberation Army.
Confused, I was assigned to the Communications Battalion of the 113th Infantry Division, and I came to the Communications Repair Office before the recruits had finished training. The repair station is the maintenance support unit of communication equipment and is responsible for all communication equipment of the whole division. When you first arrive, everything is fresh. Many old technicians and veterans use a lot of maintenance equipment to repair the radio, and it seems complicated to watch. Suddenly, the poem "The ice knife is lonely and lightning flashes, and the body is like a swallow shadow flying", and I was stunned by the exquisite skills of the technicians.
The communication repair center is highly technical, the soldiers are old, and there are many veterans who have been enlisted in the army for eight or nine years, and to be honest, the fear of difficulties is also spontaneous. I was not very interested in technical work, but I was assigned to the most technical unit in the whole camp.
As everyone knows, going to the repair station is not something that everyone can go to, repairing all the children of many unit chiefs, and the management is much looser and more comfortable than the company. This is the special kindness of the Yang Sanbo technician who received the troops, only to give me care, it should be said that it is the best unit in the whole battalion, from enlistment to the assignment of repair centers, Yang Sanbo technician is my first paver.
A verse like this emerges in my heart: "The four degrees of spring wind turn into silk, and several autumn rains wash away the chasm." Black hair frost weaves the sun and moon, chalk wordlessly writes spring and autumn. Maybe these few words are a little inappropriate to describe my pavers, but from my heart, this is no different from my enlightenment teacher!
In September of this year, the Beijing Military Region's Communications Training Brigade recruited and trained telecommunications aircraft maintenance trainees from the whole Military Region, and I was honored to be sent to study. After a year of professional theoretical study and training, we have gained a real understanding of the radio stations and cable equipment equipped by the troops, and the theoretical level has been markedly improved.
"Reading thousands of volumes of books with a broad mind, and having more experience in all directions..." After graduating in September 1977, he returned to the army, and the theoretical level may have passed, but his hands-on ability was not good, and the maintenance task was far from the same. The repair office transferred me to the communication station and directly followed Yang Technician to ensure communication, which opened the technical road of my practice.
The journey of life does not know what lies ahead, nor can it be predicted. It was from the communication station that changed my life. In order to facilitate management, my relationship was also transferred, counting as a soldier in the communication company.
For a year or so, Yang Sanbo technician transferred the trainer, I myself stayed in the communication station mechanic room, alone to perform the support task, at this time do not study but also have to learn, no one can help you, only their own efforts.
Honesty and steadfast completion of tasks is the right way, they are conscientious, tireless, conscientious and specialized, and the achievements in communication support work are obvious to all.
The old company commander Dong Changlu should be the second paver in the life of our army, and because of his outstanding performance, I was awarded the third class meritorious service and gloriously joined the Communist Party of China, which is inseparable from the recognition and promotion of the old company commander.
The signal corps is very important in the troops, it is the clairvoyance and tailwind ear of the chief and organ. Although important, it is a small army, highly technical, and difficult to improve. Basically, there are not too many positions to promote. I know that as long as you pay, there will be a corresponding return, and the return is not enough because you have not paid enough. Whether I can do it or not, I first ask myself to do my job well, and everything else is left to fate. In my work and life, I am strict with myself, down-to-earth, persevering, and I firmly believe that I will be able to reach the other side of success.

"Many of the comrades I enlisted in the army with and served in the regiment were deputy company commanders or deputy company cadres, and I was still a big head soldier. Chen Fenglin, the old section chief of the communications section, was particularly concerned about me: first, as a soldier, I have been operating the equipment of the communication station of the security division for several years, and second, I have done things in a down-to-earth manner and abided by discipline and law. Taking the initiative to find me to talk to me to transfer volunteers, I politely declined the kindness of the section chief and told the old section chief that I wanted to be demobilized.
Chief Chen is the third paver in my military life. The old section chief was reluctant to demobilize me, but he couldn't give me a job. It was also this year that the Central Military Commission had a new document, and soldiers could not directly raise cadres.
At the beginning of 1981, in order to supplement the shortage of cadres in the army, the Central Military Commission requested that a number of officers be promoted through examinations. Chief Chen first thought of me and told me to take the exam, otherwise there would be no chance.
“ ...... It's hard to walk! It's hard to walk! How wrong is the way, and now is it? Long winds and waves will sometimes hang directly on the clouds and sails to the sea. ......” When I take the exam, I am determined to fight. As the saying goes, sharpen the gun in the front, not fast also light. I scrambled to review my homework and make up for the lack of knowledge. What even I didn't expect was that I would get a first place in the exam of our major. After knowing the test results, there is only waiting, a soldier who has joined the army in the countryside, has no background, does not know how to ask the chief or what department, and thinks in his heart is also resigned to fate.
A month later, I was repairing the switchboard, and a comrade-in-arms named Tian Xi was on duty at the switchboard, and suddenly asked, "You did it, didn't you?" One sentence said to me, I really don't know if I really did it. Soon after, the company informed me that the order had been given to the anti-aircraft artillery regiment.
I don't know what position I have at the moment, but it's like the good mood described in that verse. I was confused for a long time to know that he was an oil machine technician at the logistics repair center of the anti-aircraft artillery regiment.
He reported to the anti-aircraft artillery regiment and left the communications battalion that had been a soldier for five years. At this time, I put on the military uniform of four pockets, and the joy in my heart can be imagined, and I first wrote to my parents to report the good news.
When I came to the anti-aircraft artillery regiment, I was even more confused. First of all, the tall horse big oil engine does not understand, not to mention maintenance, even if I start the machine, I will not. For the first time in his life, he picked up the phone and called Chief Chen Fenglin for help. Chief Chen personally went to the anti-aircraft artillery regiment to find Hu Xianchao, who was then the chief of staff of the regiment, and explained my situation, so I was transferred to the communications unit of the regimental headquarters.
The headquarters did not last long, the army set up a teaching brigade, responsible for training the beijing military region need to improve the soldiers, Chen Section Chief has gone to the military headquarters as the chief of the communications department, he was the first to think of me, let me go to be an instructor, so he left the anti-aircraft artillery regiment and went to the military teaching brigade. In the teaching brigade, I was responsible for teaching the communication aircraft maintenance course, and I learned and taught at the same time, and successfully completed the teaching task.
In 1984, after graduating from the cadets, it happened that the 38th Army's all-army group army was piloted, the group army set up a signal regiment, and the army logistics department set up a communication company. Director Chen Fenglin arranged for me to become deputy company commander of the Logistics and Communications Company. After serving as deputy company commander in the communications company for half a year, he was promoted to company commander. I dare say that during my tenure as company commander, I was one of the best companies in the signal regiment and was highly appreciated by the head of the logistics department and the signal regiment of the group army.
My fourth paver was Hu Xianchao, the commander of the anti-aircraft artillery regiment. A person's success is inseparable from the help of nobles, and the noble people in life are not necessarily the best friends, nor are they necessarily family members who get along day and night, but people with positive energy and vision. He gives you a brand new message, which may rewrite the trajectory of your life, that although the heavens are great, they do not moisten the grass without roots, and although the Dharma is wide, it does not cross the people who have no reason.
Any opportunity starts with hard work. Of course, my success also has my own efforts, and it is also the help of noble people! Noble people are grateful for their whole lives, and hard work is the luck of life! In the life of our military, there are noble people to help each other step by step.
Less than a year after I became a company commander, the unit was streamlined and reorganized, the old chief of the communications unit of the anti-aircraft artillery regiment headquarters was transferred to a new position, and Hu Xianchao proposed that I be transferred back to the anti-aircraft artillery regiment. After countless twists and turns, with the efforts of Director Chen of the Communications Department and Zhao Tuhuan, chief of staff of the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment Headquarters, I returned to the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment and was promoted to deputy battalion staff officer, thus solving the big problem of my family's accompanying the army. My lover and I can also be said: "After parting, how many times have we dreamed of being with Juntong?" Tonight I left the silver to shine, and I was afraid that the meeting would be a dream. "No more separation.
Looking back at my military life, I am a cadre who grew up bathed in the sunshine and rain of the army, and it is precisely in the fertile soil of the army that I constantly suck the "nutrients" that have grown into talents, and with the hard work of "sweating on sunny days, muddy on rainy days; peeling off skin in a week, and cocooning in January", I have made progress with the care and help of all the chiefs.
Looking back on the past, it can be said that "Xiongguan Mandao is really like iron". I became an officer, and although happiness was delayed, I was lost in my heart, wandered, suffered, and thought about giving up... But every step I took was closely related to these four pavers. They are not at all exaggerated because they are the benefactors of our military life.
My road to drying is tortuous, and the time for me to improve is a little late, but my progress is not slow. It took me only two years to go from platoon officer to deputy battalion officer, and I didn't fall behind. My positive and enterprising has finally been rewarded, and I can make greater contributions to the troops!
The long years passed, unforgettable military travel, full of joy and bitterness, and the unforgettable military years aroused ripples of emotion for the chiefs and comrades-in-arms, like brothers, brothers and sisters. Life is wonderful because of dreams, and military service is enriched because of dreams. I was full of ambition and pen that year; I persevered and persevered. And now, although I am over the age of flower armor, every bit of the military road has already melted into my blood.
