Lezhu Community is located in the northeast of Chencun Town, adjacent to Panyu and Nanhai, covering an area of about 3.16 square kilometers. In 2001, the Lezhu Community Neighborhood Committee smoothly promoted the work of "evacuating villages and building houses", gradually changing from the original arable land to an economic mode based on diversified planting and industry.

At present, there are still many historical buildings in Lezhu, located in Jinhua Road Hall Lane 22, Wok Er House, built in 1941, is a typical Cantonese residence; Lezhu Dutou was once an important wharf for the transfer of goods in Chen Cun Town, until January 1, 2018 (Haihua Bridge construction) completed its historical mission and ended operation. Lezhu is also the hometown of historian and philologist Qiu Juchuan. At present, the Lezhu community still retains the traditional lion awakening technique, and the Junior Lion Awakening Team represented Chen Cun in the District Games in 2010 and won the "Pile Lion" competition.

Lezhu Village, named because of its bamboo shoot-like terrain and the fact that two rivers pass through the village and is shaped like a bamboo knot, is the hometown of the Qing Dynasty historian Qiu Juchuan.
Those who are involved in the history of Lingnan know more about the "Yangcheng Ancient Banknotes", but their author Qiu Juchuan is very unfamiliar, because he has not seen the scriptures in his lifetime, the relevant records are extremely rare, he is not from the Imperial Examination, and most of the people he has made are rural cloth, so even in the same village and township, he has never heard of this name, but he is an authentic villager who has lived in Lezhu Village, Chen Village, Shunde for many years, and he is a historian who has had a profound impact on future generations.
Qiu Juchuan (?) -1800) character Huizhou, also known as Zhuyu, number pond stone. Le Zhuren was a Guangdong philologist during the Qing Dynasty and Jia Dynasty. His book "Yangcheng Ancient Banknotes" is of great value for understanding the terroir of the Pearl River Delta. Regarding his deeds, the Shunde County Chronicle has a brief introduction. Because of his dashing personality, good at writing articles, proficient in chanting poetry, very compatible with the famous Longshan scholar Wen Runeng, and also served as Wen's tutor, Wen Runeng's book "Longshan Township Chronicle" also received more help, so Wen Runeng outlined for us in the preface to "Yangcheng Ancient Banknotes" an image of a learned and talented rural Confucian.

Ma Jianchu, head of the Lezhu Dragon and Lion Martial Arts Troupe, introduced that every winter and summer vacation, a youth dragon and lion culture training class will be held, and the number of participants in each session is about 30 people. Lezhu Industrial Zone covers an area of about 540 acres (including scattered areas), with 140 existing enterprises, mainly engaged in hardware manufacturing products.
