At the 26th China (International) Small Motor Technology Seminar and Exhibition, which opened yesterday, the 21st China Electric Science and Technology Institute brought surprises. An exoskeleton robot product called "White Rainbow" earned enough "eyeballs" at the new product launch.

Mountaineering, hiking, carrying, pension, rescue... Is the powerful application direction of "White Rainbow", according to the press conference, this product is independently developed by 21 institutes, after four rounds of upgrading and iteration, has officially entered the practical field.

Exoskeletons can recognize a person's movement intentions

Through the high-performance control algorithm, "White Rainbow" can detect the human body's movement state in real time, analyze the human body's movement intention accordingly, automatically follow the user's waist and legs, and provide effective assistance for the human body. Let's imagine that when you just want to raise your legs, this "little assistant" can immediately provide motivation to help you lift your legs, or when you just have to bend down and get up, it will be keenly aware of your movement intentions, then it will greatly alleviate the user's waist and leg pressure, to achieve the role of protecting the health of waist muscles and joints.

According to reports, the combination of waist handling assistance and leg walking assistance is the first in the industry, and the control system adopts an adaptive gait recognition algorithm, focusing on artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, etc., to achieve accurate judgment recognition and prediction of human movement intentions, which is at the leading level in China.

In order to be able to intuitively reflect the "White Rainbow" series of exoskeleton assistance effect, the project team adopted a test scheme generally trusted in the industry to compare and monitor the oxygen consumption of the participants after wearing the exoskeleton robot, and obtained data feedback that the oxygen consumption was about 36% lower than before use. At the same time, the product can also provide humanized assistance services for users for mountaineering, hiking and other sports.

At the press conference, Wang Chunlei, the person in charge of the product project, said that "lightweight" and "high-speed running" are also the advantages and highlights of the extension of the "White Rainbow" function, which can achieve a high-speed running of 12km/h without reducing the performance of other advantages, which also provides a strong speed guarantee for the product in logistics handling, fire rescue and other application scenarios.

"Machine substitution" no longer belongs to the future

Another product of the 21 institutes, "airborne flexible robot arm", also appeared at the exhibition with its latest research results, which not only has the characteristics of traditional industrial robots such as high speed, high precision and high reliability, but also has greater flexibility, with human-computer interaction control, drag and drop teaching, collision detection and other functions, which can realize the perfect collaboration between people and robots. According to reports, the product can meet the industrial production line welding, sorting, assembly and other operations, but also with mobile robots to form a composite robot for automated production in unmanned workshops.

During the exhibition, 21 institutes brought aaymal-c, tiger ben, long jun and other quadruped robots, multi-joint collaborative robotic arms, qua'e and other exoskeleton robot products and a variety of micro-motor core components to participate in the exhibition, interpreting the "two special" main business (special motors, special robots) In addition to facing the star sea, it will undoubtedly make life more convenient and beautiful. Human-machine collaboration, human-machine integration products are increasingly entering thousands of households, playing a vital role.
