On the afternoon of November 24, the poetry sharing and recitation meeting of Kunming young poet Liu Jiatong was held at the Oriental Bookstore. Liu Jiatong, who has multiple cross-border elements, made a light and elegant appearance with his debut poetry collection "I Am Just Passing". Poets Zou Kunling, Li Xiaosong, writer Ban Xia and other famous artists attended to support this new talent in the poetry world born in 1989.
The poetry collection "I Am Just Passing" shared this time is planned by Li Xiaosong, vice chairman and secretary general of Kunming Writers Association, edited by Hu Xingshang, a young poet of Dianchi Magazine, and published by Yunnan Fine Arts Publishing House. The event was jointly sponsored by Kunming Writers Association, Kunming Literary and Art Critics Association and Oriental Bookstore 1926, and planned and presided over by Wen Xing, vice chairman of Kunming Literary and Art Critics Association and young critic.

Liu Jiatong, since the age of 14, has published literary works publicly, and is commonly found in newspapers and periodicals such as China Nationalities Daily, Frontier Literature, Works, and Dianchi Lake. He has been engaged in in-depth humanistic collection and editing for 7 years, publishing more than 100 million words and thousands of photographic works in the media. At the beginning of this year, he transformed into the education industry, became a teacher at Yunnan Institute of Technology and Business, and served as the deputy director of the Publicity Department of the institute.
The atmosphere was warm. Li Xiaosong said that Liu Jiatong began to participate in the "Dianchi" PEN meeting when he was in college, and he was very familiar with his people and his poems. At the beginning of this year, when planning the launch of the Kunming Female Poets Youth Poetry Volume, Liu Jiatong's works were selected from many competitors, in addition to valuing her poetry own writing ability, but also paying more attention to her original intention of writing full of love and beauty, as well as a quiet and pure writing state.
While not sparing praise, Zou Kunling also reminds the younger generation of writers not to be complacent, to read more, think diligently, and try to create unique words. Ban Xia said: Although he writes novels and social science books, he likes to read poetry, and often lets Liu Jiatong pass on poems to her to read, and in such exchanges, the two generations quietly build a kind of literary friendship. She loves the natural candor of Liu Jiatong's poetry, as well as the spirituality that quietly flows out of it, and wishes the young writers to develop better and better.
Referring to the previous 7 years of media experience, Duan Yi, the former editor-in-chief of Daguan Weekly, where Liu Jiatong once worked, said that Liu Jiatong is very passionate about journalistic work, diligent and keen in his work, and gentle and optimistic in his daily life.
As the planner and host, Wen Xing summed up: Two weeks ago, I was also here to host the launch ceremony and recitation of one of the most important contemporary poets in China, Yu Jian,40 years of poetry essence selection. So, is Liu Jiatong's poetry related to Yu Jian's poetry? You may say where is it? But I say, yes. Any kind of writing cannot be a rootless wood or a water without a source, and it has its direction along the way. In other words, the writing of young people must be influenced and nourished by their predecessors, and they all stand on the shoulders of giants."
Poet Liu Jiatong shared his creative process and mental journey. She said that she was born in the countryside, grew up and worked in the city, often with the simplicity given by the original hometown to examine urban life, therefore, her poetry often presents a certain criticality; at the same time, she often stands in the perspective of urban life, to excavate the beauty of the poetry creation of the homeland, so the pen often presents a kind of cleanliness and refinement.
In the sharing, she also talked about her travel and journalistic life as the main source of poetry creation, and many images full of divinity can always trigger her desire to create poetry. This book "I'm Just Passing By" covers my own poetry works from the early days of creation to the present, and also shows my life trajectory and writing status along the way.
Subsequently, the press corps of Yunnan Institute of Technology and Business, a college student society guided by Liu Jiatong, presented flowers to the teachers and "confessed" affectionately, and the students of the broadcast host club of Yunnan Institute of Technology and Business College also brought poetry recitations with great emotion, which won the applause of the scene.
In the interactive session, young poets Fei Danyi and Chu Xiaohan, Song Ming's peasant poet Fat Zi, disabled poet Guixin, and four-and-a-half-year-old little girl Qiao Qiao also took to the stage to recite. Between the laughter and laughter, the poetry sharing and recitation came to an end.
