After months of fierce competition, the Popcorn Festival is coming to an end. The WEEKEND AT THE U.S. BOX OFFICE WAS LIKE DISNEY'S BEAR LIVE-ACTION MOVIE "CHRISTOPER ROBIN" AND TOM CRUISE'S "MISSION Impossible 6: Total Disintegration", a battle between the two films, both of which grossed $30 million.

Disney's live action adaptation of Christoper Robin is based on the character of Winnie the Pooh, hoping to turn on nostalgia on the screen. Ivan McGregor plays an adult version of Winnie the Pooh's old friend Christopher Robin, who is now a businessman who has lost his imagination. He is reunited with his friends, including Tigger, Eyol, and Piggy, who help him find his way. The screenplay directed by Mark Foster is directed by Tom McCarthy and A. A. Milne. Jim Kunins returns to Winnie the Pooh and Tigger voices, while Brad Garnett voices Ear (Donkey). The cast also includes Hayley Atwell and Mark Gatis.
Last weekend, Mission Impossible's sixth installment, Mission Impossible 6: Total Disintegration, grossed the best in a series of films, at a whopping $61.2 million. The predecessor of Total Disintegration, Mission Impossible 5: Mysterious Realm, dropped just 48% the second weekend. If you look at the previous one, this spy thriller can surpass the Winnie the Pooh live-action movie and win the North American box office title.
Meanwhile, Lionsgate is filming the $10 million to $15 million release of "My Spy Ex-Boyfriend." This opening ceremony will be Matt. McKinnon's previous comedy, One Night in a Hurry, began for $8 million. Within a $20 million budget, it continues to earn $47 million worldwide.
In "My Spy Ex-Boyfriend", Mina Gunice and McKinnon depict two best friends who were chased by assassins in Europe after they were unwittingly caught up in an international conspiracy when one discovered who dumped her work for the CIA boyfriend. (You know, that old story) directed by Suzanne Fogel and co-authored with David, while Gastles Teux, Gillian Anderson, Sam Hurham bypassed the cast.
The young sci-fi thriller Dark Hearts hopes to be in 3127 sessions, about $8 million. It will take steam in its theatrical run to justify its $34 million price tag. Jennifer Yu Nelson, who played two sequels to Kung Fu Panda, is working on her directorial debut. Chad Hodge wrote the screenplay based on Alexander Bracken's novel. "Dark Hearts" is starring Amanda Steinberg, Mandy Moore and Gwendoline Christie, a group of young people who are fleeing government after mysteriously acquiring superpowers.
Finally, a controversial documentary by Denash de Sousa, Outlaws, is targeting $3 million. In his variety review, Owen said, "Desis'd'Souz equates liberalism with Nazism in his latest documentary, Anger and Truth. "It's a summer that has been praised in documentaries, even though its title is amazing." "Aren't you my neighbor?" "Three Identical Strangers" chose the theme of encouragement and sincerity.
D Souzas' last film, Hillary America: A Secret History of the Democratic Party, made $13 million. His first, Obama USA in 2016, exceeded $33 million.
Elsewhere at the box office, Bob's "Eighth Grade" is expanding across the U.S. It started a limited run to the best screen average year and has since picked up $3.1 million. In the upcoming comedy, Elsie Fisher tells the story of a final week of the eighth grade of middle school.
