On January 15, the 2020 Shanghai Sports Traditional Project School Physical Education Teacher Training Class ended in Oriental Green Boat. The training course invited 15 experts and scholars from various fields, and nearly 150 physical education teachers from the city's basketball and ice hockey sports traditional schools taught through five days of training combining theory and practice, and obtained a certificate of completion.

Professional learning, to strengthen the physical education teachers

In 2015, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission launched the reform of the school physical education curriculum of "primary school sports interest, junior high school sports diversification, and high school sports specialization", and selected 22 primary schools and 23 junior high schools in 16 districts in the city as pilot schools for school physical education curriculum reform, and Xuhui, Minhang and Baoshan as the overall pilot areas for reform.
In 2016, under the background of the new policy of combining "Double Ten Articles" with sports education in Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education jointly formulated the "Shanghai Sports Traditional Project School Physical Education Teacher Training Work Plan (2016-2020)". The plan makes it clear that this training work is co-sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and it is clear that the training object is the physical education teachers of the traditional sports schools that carry out 8 sports traditional projects such as athletics, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, martial arts, swimming, curling and ice hockey at the national and municipal levels in the city.

According to the spirit of the program, the training plan is completed in 5 years according to the project: 2016 training athletics and martial arts projects; 2017 training swimming and table tennis projects; 2018 training volleyball and basketball projects; 2019 training athletics and curling projects; and 2020 training basketball and ice hockey projects. Each training session of physical education teachers is not less than 120 people. In order to do a good job in training, the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau invited experts and scholars from various fields of sports to give all-round lectures for physical education teachers, and the training content was both theoretical lectures and practical training, and all students needed to pass the assessment to obtain a certificate of completion. Up to now, through the joint training of national and municipal sports and education departments, more than 1,000 special physical education teachers from traditional sports schools have participated.
