Michael Shannon declined an offer from Star Wars or Marvel

Michael Shannon plays General Zod

Michael Shannon played the villain General Zod in Superman: Man of Steel, and then continued to play the character as a dead body in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and this may be the last time we see Shannon in such a large comic book movie. Why? Because he recently turned down high-paying roles in Star Wars or Marvel movies, and he did so purely because he wasn't interested.

In a recent interview, when asked if he would appear in a Star Wars or Marvel movie later, Michael Shannon said: "I don't expect this at all, someone has called me recently, they are willing to give me a lot of money, but I still said 'no'. They've been making this story over and over again too many times, and for me it has to be a very interesting story, and if I'm not interested, I certainly won't make it. Although Michael Shannon did not elaborate on which movie it was, it was certain that it was one of Star Wars or Marvel. And "Star Wars" did not "repeat many times", so the invitation to Shannon may be a Marvel project, and it is likely to be the "Spider-Man" series.

Michael Shannon had to be respected simply because the script was not up to his liking and refused to drop high-paying and high-profile film roles. Although he does not appear in these two series of films, one can still see a lot of his work, in addition to the "Nocturnal Animal", which has been released in the UK, and shannon's work will be released in 2017.
