When he first joined the work, Zhang Yu rarely had the opportunity to operate in practice, and only when the equipment was overhauled could he systematically understand the internal structure of the thermal control system. This kind of "from concept to concept, from drawing to drawing" makes Zhang Yu feel very worried - the thermal control system has a very important role in the realization of modern thermal power generation unit automation, which can basically be regarded as the "brain" of thermal power units.
Therefore, Zhang Yu, who pays attention to practical operation and intuitive experience, ponders: If only a "brain" could be simulated, so that everyone could open the practice at any time! This thought has been lingering in Zhang Yu's mind, and it was quickly put into action.
He found an old cabinet that had been replaced after the upgrade, and then found some data cables and controllers, and built a simulated temporary thermal control system in the workshop. With this simulated "brain", everyone has any problems, you can open it at any time to watch and operate, and intuitively feel the secrets and problems in this brain. In this way, the boring symbols and connections on the drawings have become visible and touchable objects here, which has greatly deepened everyone's understanding and cognition of the system and improved work efficiency. This project has been affirmed by the company and won the second prize of the company's innovative achievements.
"Reducing equipment failure rate and improving production efficiency" is the work concept that Zhang Yu has been adhering to. In addition to being diligent in thinking and daring to innovate, he also has a spirit of daring to "gnaw hard bones". As an early control system, a control system in the first phase of the company has been running for nearly twenty years, and it has been unable to adapt to the current unit control requirements, and Zhang Yu is always thinking about how to overcome this difficulty.
In 2015, he adopted a partial upgrade of the control system technology transformation, through data analysis and in-depth research, repeated tests and adjustments, Zhang Yu finally "gnawed down this hard bone", and made a breakthrough in reducing cost and shortening the construction period. However, during the operation of the test, Zhang Yu found a technical problem that affected the safe operation of the unit. In line with the principle of excellence, he asked foreign technicians for help to jointly study the causes of problems, but to no avail. Zhang Yu, who had made sufficient psychological preparations, was not discouraged, he led the research team to repeatedly test, adjust, and read a large number of English materials, and finally conquered the difficulties that foreign experts could not overcome.
Zhang Yu pays attention to "skill teaching", drives and leads the "houlang" to become a talent, and fully demonstrates the mind and courage of Longjiang craftsmen. The team he led has completed more than 30 innovation and transformation projects, and the technical level of employees is constantly improving, which effectively ensures the safe and stable operation of the unit.
In the past twenty-four years, Zhang Yu has not stopped studying for a moment. While practicing exercises, he assiduously studied technical knowledge, committed to the research of energy conservation and emission reduction of thermal power plants, heating systems, environmental protection facilities, and safe and stable operation of automation control systems, and created a number of technical achievements that have won awards. Among them, "Research on the Deviation of Water Level Measurement of Steam Drums in Thermal Power Plants" won the scientific and technological innovation achievements of electric power enterprises, "Application of Built-in Condensing Device in Water Level Measurement of Steam Drums" won the second prize of China Equipment Management Innovation Achievements, "350mw Subcritical Unit rb Function Test Analysis" won the first prize of Thesis of China Electric Power Technology Market Association, and two inventions won national invention patents.
National electric power industry equipment management innovation outstanding figures, Longjiang craftsmen, thermal control professional and technical experts...... When the honorary title swept in, Zhang Yu felt that he was still just an ordinary thermal control engineer.
In the past twenty-four years, what has changed is the appearance, what has not changed is the original intention, and Zhang Yu will continue to struggle on the hot land of the Qitai River to escort the safety of the crew.
