Today (March 1) morning, Comrade Li Changchun's "Central Plains Land Endeavor Song" - the launch ceremony of the new book on the exploration and practice of revitalizing Henan in the 1990s was held at the Zhongyuan Book Building in Zhengzhou.
Wang Quanshu, deputy director of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference on Education, Science, Culture, Health, and Sports and former chairman of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Ren Chao, executive vice president of the People's Publishing House, Zhao Suping, member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial CPC Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, Wang Mingyi, former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial People's Congress, Zhao Tiejun, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial CPC Committee and secretary of the party committee, chairman of the board of directors, and president of the Henan Daily Newspaper Group, Wang Ai, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of directors of the Zhongyuan Publishing and Media Group, Tan Fusen, deputy director of the Henan Provincial Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and Liu Xiaoming, president of the Henan People's Publishing House, Geng Xiangxin, editor-in-chief of Zhongyuan Dadi Media Co., Ltd., and other leaders attended the meeting.
The book "The Endeavor of the Central Plains" has been published by the People's Publishing House and the Henan People's Publishing House, and includes 217 speeches, conversations, articles, instructions, letters, reports and other manuscripts of Comrade Li Changchun during his work in Henan from July 1990 to February 1998, and 159 photos, most of which were published for the first time.
According to reports, this book truly records the historical footprints of Henan's reform and development in the 1990s, and vividly shows the brilliant chapter of the reform, opening up, unity and progress of the people of the Central Plains.
This book is of great significance for the comprehensive implementation of the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 3rd, 4th and 5th Plenary Sessions of the 18th CPC Central Committee, and for realizing the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation under the strong leadership of the Cpc Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as general secretary.
Ren Chao introduced the editing and publishing process of the book at the launch ceremony. He said, "The manuscript has been adjusted and improved 8 times, and 8 sample books have been printed before and after. "The Song of Striving for the Land of the Central Plains" is a vivid record of Comrade Li Changchun's arduous exploration and unremitting practice of leading 90 million people of the Central Plains to hold high the banner of unity and endeavor and to revitalize Henan. ”
Wang Quanshu said, "This book can be called a faithful record of unity and progress and revitalization of Henan, a successful demonstration of the leapfrog development of inland provinces, an experience treasure book of ideas, wisdom and courage, and a vivid and detailed and precious history of letters of the times." ”
In her speech, Zhao Suping congratulated the publication of the book on behalf of the provincial party committee. Subsequently, Wang Quanshu, Ren Chao, Zhao Suping and Wang Mingyi jointly launched the release of the new book.
