Our trip to Yulin was originally planned like this:
Depart from Xi'an by car, pass through Yan'an, and finally arrive at the destination: Yulin.
On the way, we will pass by Wave Valley, Ganquan Grand Canyon and Mahuangliang Geopark, which are popular and niche tourist attractions in Shaanxi.
Eventually, we will return the car in Yulin and then take a flight back to Guangdong.
It was going as planned along the way and went very smoothly.
Until the last day, we temporarily added the itinerary: to Guojiagou Village.
That is, Shuangshui Village, which is often referred to as Shuangshui Village, is called Shiyuanjie Commune in Yuanxi County, Huangyuan District, Shaanxi Province, and is located in Guojiagou Village, Mantangchuan Town, Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is the filming location of the TV series "Ordinary World".
Forgive me for my ignorance, before going to Guojiagou, I did not read the original "Ordinary World" written by Lu Yao, nor did I watch the TV series, I just wanted to see the real northern Shaanxi countryside.
In my impression, I always thought that northern Shaanxi was the appearance of the loess slope. The song that resounded many years ago still echoed in the ears:
"My family lives on a high slope of loess, and the wind blows from the slope,
Whether it's the northwest wind or the southeast wind, it's my song, my song.
My family lives on a high slope of loess, and the sun walks over the slope,
My arms were basking in my cave, and my cattle were following me. ”
According to our itinerary in Shaanxi for a few days, the high slopes of the loess soil did not look at, and what we saw were green mountains and green water, and even the Yellow River was clear.
This is not at all like the impression of northern Shaanxi.
I thought that the appearance of the loess slope was in the countryside.
Therefore, we decided to go to Guojiagou Village to see it again.
Going to Guojiagou Village took a lot of trouble.
Navigate the village of Suide Guojiagou, which is only about 20 kilometers away from the town, and the distance is very short. However, the road is not easy.
Halfway through a village, how to describe this road?
The road is not narrow, asphalt road, wider than 1 lane, on both sides of the road are townhouses, stepping over the threshold of the house is the road, there is no transition between them.
When the car is driving, you may encounter who goes out to pour water, who walks calmly on the road, whose sheep want to cross the road... I didn't dare to drive fast at all.
Passing through such a village, it is another winding mountain road, the road is narrower, and all the way I am worried about how the pair of oncoming cars will get, and the mountain road is empty.
20 km, driving for a full 1 hour. Finally saw Guojiagou Village.
At this time, it was already dark, and there were few households in the village, and there were few lights. And ------ doesn't seem to be the Guojiagou Village we're going to.
After several times on the map, I was sure that there was nothing wrong, but in fact, it was really not like Guojiagou Village in the TV series.
At this time, fortunately, there was a car passing by, we stopped the car, two men in the car, who happened to be people from the village, heard that we were going to the filming location of "Ordinary World", and laughed at once. Saying that we have come to the wrong place, this Guojiagou is not the village of Guojiagou. It is only right to navigate Suide Shuangshui Village.
Can you feel our despair at that time?
However, no matter how desperate he was, he had no choice but to return to the town and explore the real Guojiagou Village the next day, that is, Shuangshui Village.

In fact, I already had the idea of giving up going to Shuangshui Village again. I didn't want to go, and I didn't want to, but I finally decided to go again.
The road to Shuangshui Village is still very good, and the moment I saw the village, I knew in my heart that this time I had finally come to the right place.
Several rows of cave dwellings are built on the mountain, and there is a small river in front of the village, which is said to be formed by the confluence of the Weeping Throat River and the Dongla River, and cross a bridge to enter the village.
The village is still inhabited, but it is almost impossible to see young people, most of whom are left behind in the village.
Of course, this is not the appearance of the high slopes of the loess soil------ northern Shaanxi has long been transformed into the appearance of green waters and green mountains after returning farmland to forests. It is no different from other villages, and the only difference may be the cliff-like cave with the hole.
Along the path, you can also see the caves filmed in the TV series "Ordinary World"------ and there are signs hanging in front of the door, indicating that the characters in the TV series once lived here.
In fact, Shuangshui Village is not the first time it has been on the TV screen, and "Orchid Flower" has also been filmed here. There was an old grandmother living in this house, and there were some handicrafts in the house, and asked the grandmother if she could go in to visit, and the grandmother was very enthusiastic, but because there was no demand for handicrafts, she did not buy it.
With the popularity of "Ordinary World", it has now passed 6 years, and once the heat has passed, Shuangshui Village has changed from an endless stream of people to occasionally meet tourists like us, which is also a fateful thing.
Since the village became a scenic spot, it has not been charged, and the popularity that once brought a burst of excitement and income to these left-behind elderly people has now returned to flatness. However, the signage is in place, and Sun Yuhou's home and the filming location of the 2015 CCTV Spring Festival Gala are clearly marked.
It is said that the people of northern Shaanxi pay great attention to feng shui, and the number of caves is basically odd, and there is no even number. The family with the largest number of cave dwellings in the village is inhabited by two elderly people, probably the children are working outside, and the courtyard is equipped with stone mills that must be found in farmers in northern Shaanxi, and a jujube tree is planted. There was also a sheep pen in the courtyard, which was very clean.
The old couple may have long been accustomed to the curiosity of tourists, allowing us to take pictures in the courtyard and look east and west. We invited the uncle to take a group photo together, and the uncle, barefoot, warmly agreed.
At that moment, you suddenly feel that the time in "Ordinary World" is still flowing in this village, and the people here are simple and heart-wrenching.
