In 265, Cao Wei's last emperor, Cao Yan, usurped imperial power by Sima Yi's grandson Sima Yan. Sima Yan established the Jin Dynasty and made Cao Yan the Prince of Chenliu. Fifteen years later, the Jin Dynasty destroyed Eastern Wu, and Cao Yan witnessed the end of the Three Kingdoms.

Cao Wan

76 years ago, in 189 AD, Liu Xie, the king of Chenliu in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was proclaimed emperor by Dong Zhuo and called Emperor Xian of Han. Later, Dong Zhuo was killed, and Cao Cao welcomed Emperor Wu to Xu County, witnessing the arrival of the Three Kingdoms.

Liu Xie

There are many Chen Liu kings in history, but these two Chen Liu kings, one witnessed the arrival of the three kingdoms of chaos, and the other witnessed the end of the three kingdoms of chaos. As the same Chen Liu Wang, there are three other similarities between them.

They were all the last emperors. Liu Xie was the last emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and Cao Huan was the last emperor of Cao Wei.

They were all young emperors. Liu Xie was 9 years old when he ascended the throne, and 15 years old when Cao Huan ascended the throne.

They are all puppet emperors. During Liu Xie's reign, power was successively in the hands of the powerful ministers Dong Zhuo, Cao Cao, and Cao Pi; during Cao Yi's reign, the power was in the hands of the powerful minister Sima Yan.

Sima Yan

The Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao Wei, and the Western Jin Dynasty, the change of these three regimes, the two Chen Liu kings made a connection between them, and history is sometimes such a coincidence.

In these three dynasties, Cao Cao and Sima Yi clearly played a very important role. Cao Cao was Liu Xie's vassal, and his son Cao Pi (曹丕) seized the Han Dynasty; Sima Yi was a major vassal of Cao Wei in the middle and late period, and his grandson Sima Yan seized Cao Wei's throne.

The Book of Jin records that Cao Cao once recruited Sima Yi as an official, but Sima Yi was unwilling, and later Cao Cao used coercive means to make Sima Yi not allow him to take office. It is recorded in the Wei Liu that Cao Hong wanted to invite Sima Yi to his side, but Sima Yi refused. Cao Hong was very unhappy, and went to Cao Cao to make a small report, and Cao Cao recruited Sima Yi, and as a result, Sima Yi immediately went to serve Cao Cao.

Sima Yi

Different positions, the way of description is naturally different. The Book of Jin makes people feel that Sima Yi's service to Cao Cao is a kind of involuntariness; "Wei Luo" makes people feel that Sima Yi is obsessed with serving Cao Cao. However, no matter what the description, Cao Cao had the grace of knowing Sima Yi.

And the one who had the grace of knowing Cao Cao was Sima Yi's father, Sima Fang. Sima Fang recommended Cao Cao as a lieutenant in the north of Luoyang, and Cao Cao began to appear on the political stage. Cao Cao must not have imagined that the person who provided the needle and thread, and finally his great-grandson, put on the yellow robe he had woven.

Cao Cao

The Cao clan took the Liu clan Jiangshan, and the Sima clan took the Cao clan's Jiangshan, and even the way was so similar. Sima Yan's sealing of Cao Yan as The King of Chen Liu inevitably made people feel ridiculed, and the descendants of Cao Cao, a generation of tyrants, ended up in the same situation as Emperor Xian of Han.

History is accidental and unthinkable; history is also similar, causal reincarnation, amazing.

Cao Died in 302 AD, although the turmoil of the Three Kingdoms ended and the World unified the Jin Dynasty. But the rule of peace did not last long, the Rebellion of the Eight Kings came again, and another darker era was coming. Like Liu Xie, the two Chen Liu kings were born in a chaotic world and finally in a chaotic world.
