Character files: Wearing a police uniform, holding a lancet, where there is a murder, there is her figure; she talks with the deceased, peels back the cocoon, only to uncover the truth, and sinks into the injustice; she responds with the meticulous patience and calmness characteristic of women, and is determined to adhere to the Zhengzheng oath of "speaking for the dead and for the rights of the living". She is Han Ying, a forensic doctor from the Yongqing County Public Security Bureau in Langfang City, Hebei Province, who was rated as a national special outstanding people's policeman.
I am Han Ying, a forensic doctor from Yongqing County, Langfang City, who has been working in this position for 8 years. In 2013, I graduated from Hebei Medical University majoring in clinical medicine, and just when I was about to become an angel in white, I was attracted by a forensic recruitment announcement! I was so excited that the forensic dream that I had when I watched "Six Groups of Serious Cases" as a child was ignited again!

No regrets
I remember my dad saying to me, "Baby, how nice it is to work in the hospital, it's decent and respected." But as a forensic doctor, every day you are faced with all kinds of corpses, you are a girl's family, how terrible..."
"Dad, the greatest happiness in this life, is not to be able to do what you like, I like to be a policeman!" I don't want to make myself regret it! ”
When I checked in, the captains thought I was a little girl and couldn't do forensics. Therefore, Captain Zhao said to me: "You still do internal work, you are not willing to be in the technical room, and you can do it in the brigade." ”
"No, I want to be a forensic doctor!"

Captain Liu said to me: "Our work is not the same as what you see in the TV series, the scene we contact is often full of blood, maggots on the ground, high rot, no arms, no head, forensic doctors have no way out." And we are at the grassroots level, we have to examine the body, investigate the scene, and extract traces and physical evidence! In addition, the police situation is the order, the case is out, the forensic doctor must be on, it does not matter day or night. You, okay? "I'm not afraid, I just want to be a forensic doctor!" Seeing that I was so determined, the two captains reluctantly agreed to me.
Accept defeat
At first, I was a student, learning from the captain and colleagues how to do identification, go out of the scene, and do autopsies. From recording and taking pictures to picking up a steel ruler, a scalpel, a craniotomy saw, little by little, I found that the real forensic work was very different from my original concept of forensics. We didn't walk into the scene in suits carrying a survey box, we didn't do an autopsy in a spotless autopsy room, and we didn't discuss the cause of death while drinking coffee. On the contrary, we often work in an environment full of foul odor and maggots, facing the dead in different forms, we have to bear great psychological pressure, we have to pay hard physical and mental work, we have to shuttle between funeral homes and dissection rooms that others can't avoid, in the field of minus ten degrees or in the hot summer sun for several hours.

However, none of this affected my love of the job in the slightest. I love the process of finding clues, reasoning, and reconstructing the scene, I like the challenge of stripping away the cocoon, and I enjoy the great sense of accomplishment after solving the case. Maybe it was the captains' disapproval at the beginning, which made me always remind myself of the strength of not accepting defeat in my heart, I must fight for gas, and I must let them change their views. Step by step to the present, I answered the doubts of the captains with my own practical actions, and I, the female forensic doctor, did not waste the quota in the team, and I was not defeated by the harsh scene environment.

The first time I was tested for a highly decomposed corpse was at noon in the summer of 2015, when the weather was sweltering. In the scene, a highly corrupt corpse was lying on the bedroom bed, looking at the maggots that had burrowed in and out, full of goosebumps, when the hand touched the corpse, the decaying skin on the body fell down as soon as it was touched, and seeing such a corrupt corpse, whether it was psychological, physical or visual, was a huge test for me, but I never wanted to give up, "Others can, I must be able to do it!" I suppressed my nausea and insisted on completing the examination of the body. In the blink of an eye, I have worked for eight years, experienced various scenes such as falling high, drowning, hanging, burning, high rot, and broken corpses, with my loyalty to the party, unlimited love for work and the care and help of comrades, I successfully defeated myself, overcame psychological obstacles, and gradually had the calm and calm of the old technicians before.
Don't understand
In 2015, there was a burglary and murder case, one death and one injury. I was still breastfeeding, but the police situation was an order, and I had to be the first to arrive at the scene! Because of the gravity of the case, we performed an autopsy on the body overnight and conducted repeated investigations of the scene. After a series of work such as on-site reconstruction, portrayal of criminal suspects and investigation visits, the case was finally successfully solved. However, when handling this case that lasted more than 100 days, my child was not yet one year old, and every day he came out early and returned late, and there was no time to feed the child, so I could only endure the swelling pain, and I really couldn't stand it, so I found a place where no one was to squeeze the milk out. The case was not yet solved, but the milk was held back early. The mother-in-law complained bitterly: "Look at the work you are doing, you are busy, and you let the children suffer with the guilt, you say how bitter you are!" ”

Looking at the half-dreamed and half-awake child who wanted to suckle, my heart was broken. During pregnancy, worried that the child was afraid, every time before facing the corpse, I would put the badge with the police badge in front of my stomach and silently say to the baby, "Don't be afraid, the police protect you." I know that I am sorry for the family and the child, but I am not only the mother of my child, I am also a forensic doctor, a people's policeman, I have to be worthy of the police uniform on my body and the police badge on my head! In addition to the complaints and incomprehensions of our families, we will often encounter the incomprehension and even strong opposition of our families at work.

One of the cases that I was more impressed with was a quarrel between the husband and wife, the man gave the woman a slap, the woman fell to the ground and lost her breath, and after the 120 emergency confirmed that she had died, she called the police. In order to determine the cause of death, we decided to perform an autopsy on the body. But when negotiating with their son, he went crazy and suddenly pounced on his mother, crying, "No, you can't dissect your mother!" Mom is gone, Dad has been taken away by you, I have no home, I don't want Mom to be dissected again! You know, today is my eighteenth birthday, but I can't have a birthday anymore, because my birthday is my mother's death day..."
We stepped forward and patted him on the shoulder: "Son, we understand your feelings and know that you are sad right now. However, finding out the cause of death is not only our duty, it is also an account for you, and you don't want your mother to die unclear, right? After patient and meticulous persuasion, he finally agreed to the dissection. After autopsy, it was found that the head of the deceased was violently turned when he was beaten, resulting in a rupture at the basal artery ring. The husband of the deceased was also punished accordingly. That time, I stitched it very carefully, and when my son saw that his mother looked like nothing else, a heart finally let go.
No going back
Everyone knows the dangers of criminal police, but forensic work is also a high-risk profession. For example, some criminals will bury explosives at the crime scene in order to retaliate against the police; in the autopsy process, if the body has a strong infectious disease, we are more at risk of being infected, but I will never back down, I will adhere to the promise of "speaking for the dead and living for the rights of the living"!
Returning the truth to the dead so that justice can be done, this is the value we have always adhered to in the forensic position. It is the unshirkable responsibility of forensic medical workers to let the corpse "speak", expose the truth, provide the true direction for the investigation of the case, provide an accurate basis for conviction and sentencing, be impartial, and not be unreasonable.

As a young policeman in the new era, I will always bear in mind the sixteen-character general requirements of "loyalty to the party, service to the people, fairness in law enforcement, and strict discipline", work hard in the brilliant youth, solve cases for the people, let physical evidence open, and better undertake the sacred mission entrusted by the party and the people. As always, I will continue to uphold the promise of "speaking for the dead and living for the rights of the living"! As forensic doctor Qin Ming said: A pair of ghost hands, only to sink the snow, full of Buddha's heart, only wish the world peace!
