Recently, I pushed the travel documentary "Nomadic Forest", which still tells what I saw and heard when I drove in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, and Daxinganling in autumn through narration and documentary, and the whole film lasted 27 minutes.

The guide of this trip is divided into two parts, the upper part introduces the season, the general route and the natural scenery on the way, which can be clicked to read - "Hulunbuir, the strongest self-driving road map (Part 1)" In the late autumn scenery, this article will continue to introduce the towns I encountered through the 1,000 kilometers of Daxing'anling.

From [Chaihe Town] all the way north to [Jinhe Town] - [Alongshan Town] - [Mangui Town], you can reach the "Mohe River" in Heilongjiang; if you keep taking the county road, there are nearly 1,000 kilometers of Linhai Highway.

However, because I need to take a large ring road, I actually transferred to [Mordauga] and [Murwei Town] in [Jinhe Town], and this section of the road is also about 1,000 kilometers of Linhai Highway.

During this journey, you will pass through two large cities: one is [Yakeshi City] and the other is [Genhe City], both of which are very prosperous; the rest of the towns scattered on the route, basic food and accommodation are not a problem.

Note 1 to entry: In forest areas, there is basically only a mobile phone signal in the town

Note 2: Gas stations in forest towns "seem" to be the first to ensure that FDA vehicles are refueled, so there will be refueling restrictions at individual gas stations, and the amount of fuel should be paid attention to in advance.

Note 3: The northern section of the entire route is in poor condition, mainly through the frozen soil section, the road surface settlement is very serious, we must control the speed.

Although I have been to many fields and villages in east China, central China, west, southwest and northwest, the forest farms and towns in the depths of the Daxing'an Mountains in Inner Mongolia can be said to be very different from my imagination; in fact, this place is indeed very different from other places.

In the rest of the countryside, whether it is a plain hill or a mountain pastoral area, you can see houses scattered on the mountain fields; but in Daxing'anling, the villages and towns and mountain forests here have a fairly clear boundary, and out of the town is the forest, and there will be no single-settled households.

The following maps can basically summarize the vegetation landform of Daxing'anling and the scale of forest towns.

99% of the Daxing'anling mountains are forests, wetlands, rivers and a very small part of the agricultural and pastoral land; while all the residents are concentrated in villages and towns, and there is no single household, which is very special.

Although the forest town is developing slowly, there are still many newly built residential buildings around the town center.

Although the old iron in the north always laments the depression of the towns, in fact, as a newcomer to the south, I feel that each town is relatively stable and solid.

If in the summer, the number of tourists increases, and each town should be more lively - this can be seen from the number of newly built hotels and restaurants in the towns along the way.

So although the young people have fled, but there are more visitors from afar, tourism still makes Daxinganling slowly transform and progress, right?

Usually the houses outside the town center are older, almost still maintaining the same old houses as they were decades ago; I took a closer look at the wooden houses here with my camera, and the wooden houses here are still the kind of wooden planks and mud structures.

Although the following village and town wooden houses were photographed in the town of Mordauga, they can almost be seen as a microcosm of the entire town along the way.

I once privately consulted two of my friends in the northeast, probably why everyone in the villages and towns in this area gathered together, and unlike the villages in other places, there were at least scattered villagers.

However, they did not seem to have paid attention to this detail, but the answer was probably cold! Everyone huddled together to warm up!

I laughed... Yes, the winter in Daxing'anling is beautiful, but it is also a bitter cold place!

As for why there are few scattered villagers in Daxing'anling, everyone huddled together to warm up with each other... Later, I consulted a lot of historical materials, combined with my own journey and experience, and slightly integrated to come to my own approximate conclusion:

First, because in the early 20th century, most of the Shandong and Hebei people went to the three eastern provinces to reclaim wasteland, and a small number of people went to Heilongjiang Laojingou to pan for gold, and there were not many people who really migrated into the mountains; it was not until later that the Czarist Russia and Japan plundered forest resources, and in the 60s and 70s, China's large-scale development of forestry in Daxing'anling, the depths of the mountains have a little popularity;

However, throughout the history of population migration, the Daxing'anling Mountains are a place of gold panning and entrepreneurship and the development of forest industry, and the movement of population is naturally biased towards organized and large-scale aggregation.

Second, because Daxing'anling in Inner Mongolia has not developed planting industry before, 90% of the cultivated land is concentrated after the 90s; so without planting, there will be no reclamation of cultivated land, and without scattered cultivated land, there will naturally be no scattered farmers.

Third, maybe it is indeed necessary to warm each other...

After the first snow, Mordaugalong Mountain Park is the place I can find, the most similar to the trisolaran radar peak... Even if the antenna is slightly smaller, I recognize it!

In fact, there is a reason why I care so much about the scattered residents in the forest area, after all, at the beginning of my imagination, I wanted to find and visit the farmers in the forest, curious about their lives in the forest... As a result, when I entered the mountains, I found that the villages and towns in Daxing'anling were really so different from the villages in other parts of China (especially compared with the southwest and east China).

Therefore, this trip to Daxing'anling is also a process of raising his posture.

The process from [Mordauga] through [Taiping River], [Linjiangtun] to [Damuwei Town] is the process of passing through the transition zone of mountain grassland from the forest wetland and finally returning to the grassland.

Key point: The whole route is sparsely populated and the scenery is beautiful, but the road conditions are extremely poor.

Especially from [Taipingchuan] to [Linjiangtun], the shell craters and washboard roads along the way, the speed of 20 kilometers per hour can not be more.

But I have to say that my impression of [Linjiangtun] and [Murong Wei] is quite good, especially when I walk from the dense forest to the wide grassland... As the sun set, I was literally melted.

[Taiping River] - [Linjiangtun] - [Room Wei] Because it is just in the transition zone, this short non-paved road, which integrates all the landscapes of mountain forests, river valley wetlands, fields and grasslands; if you are also passing by here at sunset, I believe you will feel the same as me.

This road is a rare and unmissable bad road in Hulunbuir.

This river is called [Erguna River], and the opposite bank is Russia!

Note: Here, the drone is going to be put away, don't ask me why, the direction of the butt is the troops.

[Murwei Town] and "Enhe Township" are both Russian ethnic townships, these two places in Hulunbuir are considered to be the must-visit places in the travel guide, in order to compare the difference between the two townships, I tearfully gave up a part of the border road.

If you go to these two places after October, you will find that 95% of the town's inns and shops are closed – which means that Murray and Enhe are almost all foreigners coming to do business, and the original style has almost disappeared, replaced by a purely tourist business.

Commercialization is inevitable, and I am not disgusted by a certain degree of commercialization, not to mention that this is still a good thing for the border towns in the north, at least you can find beautiful views and comfortable corners there - because the wind here is so cold, it is difficult to feel comfortable without hot water and central heating in the hotel, especially for tourists with their families and mouths.

But if you were to ask me which one to go to, I had to choose one or the other?

I certainly recommend you to the town of Muroe.

One is because the roads in Murwei Town are cleaner;

The second is because Murwei is in the transition zone of mountain grasslands, which has both forests, grasslands and rivers; Enhe is in the valley flat dam, the scenery is relatively single; and the commercialization of Enhe has been too fierce in recent years, and it is really less poetic.

Third, the town of Murway and the border road (card line) here are also very worth coming.

On the opposite bank is the village of Oloch in the Nie District of Chita Oblast, Russia

Although the town of Murwei is also lined with shops and has a strong commercial atmosphere, when I stand on the street, I feel unusually quiet and free. Because I was basically the only tourist left here, the whole street was empty, and there was not even a place to eat!

Note: After the National Day in October, the town of Shiwei is basically people going to the empty building, only a few hotels are still open, for individual customers, in fact, this time to avoid the crowds of people to walk with peace of mind is also a good choice.
