Football.london Arsenal reporter Kaynak exclusively reported that Sheffield United midfielder Sander Borg is interested in moving to Arsenal this summer.
Despite Sheffield United's relegation this season, Borg's performances have remained outstanding, with many allegedly wanting him to stay in the Premier League. Arsenal are currently in the lead in the Borg scramble, with rivals including Everton and Aston Villa.
If Real Madrid midfielder Erdegaard can stay at Arsenal this summer, Borg will be happy to be associated with his close friends and Arsenal. A source close to the Sheffield United midfield said he was likely to join Arsenal this summer and he would love to go to the Emirates Stadium, but any transfer of Berger would depend on Odegaard's final decision. Football.london learned from Edgar's side that the Real Madrid midfielder also wanted to stay at Arsenal because he was impressed by Mikel Arteta's plans and felt that he was valuable as a member of Arsenal.
However, with Arsenal's shipwreck journey this season, it is unclear whether Arsenal can afford a transfer from Erdegaard or whether Real Madrid is willing to let Odegaard go. Previously, the Athletic also reported that Arsenal had inspected the Borg, and his relegation clause was £35 million, unchanged.
