On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 72nd anniversary of the founding of New China, in order to practice the Jiangsheng school motto of "the motherland is in my heart" and stimulate the patriotic feelings of young people, on October 10, the seventh-grade teachers and students of the school came to Shaoshan, the hometown of the great leader Chairman Mao Zedong, to carry out the social practice activity of "please rest assured that the party, the country has me", relive the glory years, remember the revolutionary martyrs, and carry forward the revered red spirit.
Hiking and simulating the Long March
Shaofeng Yuxiu, the gorge is clear, and the Shaoshan Rush after the rain is like a poem that has been quiet for many years. As soon as they got off the bus, the students simulated the Long March and hiked. The autumn wind hunts, blowing all the way to the song; the cold rain is steep, and it cannot extinguish the enthusiasm. The teenagers used their footsteps to explore the footprints of the revolution, and interpreted the spirit of the Long March with actions that "the Red Army is not afraid of expeditions and difficulties, and thousands of rivers and mountains are only idle".
Oath and firm conviction
The students came to the first stop of the study, Chairman Mao's bronze statue square, and the party members and teachers presented flower baskets and bowed and saluted the bronze statue of chairman. Vice President Cai Zhiping enthusiastically called on the students to grow and progress under the encouragement of the spirit of great people, and to be good teenagers in the new era with ambition, backbone and confidence.
All the teachers and students recited "Qinyuan Spring Snow" in unison to express their deep remembrance and high respect for the chairman. "Count the popular characters, and look at this dynasty!" Zheng Zheng's oath resounded throughout the bronze statue square and was carved into the heart of the teenager.
Visit and remember history
In the afternoon, everyone visited the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and Memorial Garden in an orderly manner. By conscientiously reading Chairman Mao's manuscripts, letters, photographs, texts, and other materials during his lifetime, and visiting the physical objects that Chairman Mao had used, the students gained a deeper understanding of Chairman Mao's legendary life and great achievements, felt his journey of exploring the truth of saving the country and the people and opening up the road to victory in the Chinese revolution, and even more appreciated his firm belief in "daring to teach the sun and the moon to change into a new heaven," so as to gain more powerful spiritual strength and forge ahead.
Watch the performance and aim high
In the evening, all the teachers and students watched the live performance of "China Has a Mao Zedong". Everyone waved the small national flag and sang loudly "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China" and the school song of our school, and the strong patriotic feelings and love for the school rose and surged like a torch.
The performance reproduced the magnificent life of the great leader Chairman Mao and the difficult years and glorious course of the Communist Party of China, and the teachers and classmates admired the revolutionary ancestors even more, and also better understood the heroic ambitions pinned on "Xiongguan Mandao is really like iron, and now he is stepping forward from the beginning". By truly touching history, everyone understands the responsibilities of the sons and daughters of China today.
