Chizuru Ikewaki will perform in the new drama "Sorry, I Love You" starring Tomoya Nagase, which is her first performance in a folk drama series in 14 years since 2003's "Daio". Her character Wakasa Kawai grew up in the same childcare facility as the protagonist Ryū Okazaki (Tomoya Nagase), who had brain problems as a child due to an accident and was mentally stuck at the age of 7 at the time of the accident, but she also had an 8-year-old son.
Chizuru Ikewaki has won several film awards before, and this time the role was decided by screenwriter Myoko Asano and the producers to be performed by her outstanding acting skills, so a warm invitation was made, and Ikewaki quickly decided.
