At first glance at the poster and the name, I immediately associated this film with the touching story of Hachiko, a loyal dog. But when I saw the beginning of the film, I realized that it was a fictional documentary without flashy cuts and complex narrative routines. The whole film unfolds with the narration from the protagonist's first perspective, interspersed with the dialogue of the interview, telling a realistic story of how Japanese volunteers saved dogs and dogs.
Originally thought it was a pure documentary, I went to see it with the mood of increasing my knowledge. In fact, I also like the documentary part of this movie the most. The movie says, "Our relationship with our pets is real, but their lives can be bought with money." It's a bit cruel to think about.
